Great little Cafe. Lots of cool art throughout. Play live music. Deceively good sized, with sitting in the back. Lots of good pastries and other items to choose from. Staff is very good. Lots of fun and very hip.
Curitiba Art Cafe is my favorite coffee shop in Fredricksburg Va. They serve good coffee and after a certain time they sell alcohol, which is cool. If you ever visit the “burg” as they say check this place out great everything. Just don’t go there before 9am because you will be waiting outside lol!
Visited 9/15/23 the pastries I saw looked like the same ones I used to buy from Shoppers & Safeway grocery stores. I didn't purchase anything. The atmosphere was nice. The staff seemed nice. I will return at a later date.
I just discovered this place in downtown Fredericksburg. I may update this to 5 stars once I spend more time here. Anyway the front window lists this as an Art Cafe, which is true but they also have a full service coffee shop and beer/liquor bar. They have a limited but good selection of food (sandwiches and salads), as well as pastries. I liked the atmosphere better than any other restaurant in downtown and they have a nice outdoor seating in the back. Overall this place is much bigger and nicer than you'd expect from the front.
I love this place. It's my favorite coffee shop in a sea of amazing coffee shops in downtown Fredericksburg. The customer service is kind and friendly and the live music is fitting for the vibe of a coffee shop on the weekends. Try the cheese or cheery danishes, warmed up. They are delicious. Also, make sure you try the Chai. If I were to provide any feedback, it would be to clean the tables with some other solution or clean them more because they tend to be sticky.
I like discovering new coffee shops. This place looked so nice I really wanted it to be a five star review. Unfortunately, not the case. I will say, the coffee tasted fine. No problems with it. The staff seemed a bit off putting. Its hard to put a finger on it, not rude but not really friendly either. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich but he said sorry just ran out and we would have to make more. I was thinking, ok sounds good, fresh food. But what he meant was your gonna have to order something else. Even with ordering food they had ready, it took over 20 minutes for a couple sandwiches. Another couple who came in behind us waited 45 minutes for a turkey sandwich. There wasn’t a crowd of customers. I will say, the sandwich was pretty good. Just not what I wanted.
Came here after yoga class on a Friday morning. Seating was limited and required use of shared table space. Lots of patrons there conversing so I wouldn’t go here for quiet reading. The matcha tea was delicious and my panini sandwich was okay. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I originally ordered an empanada, which they late discovered were sold out. They let me choose another item from the menu with no additional charge. Great customer service and decent menu selections. I’d try this place again, perhaps in the warmer months when the outdoor seating is an option.
Worst experience ever! This employee should NOT be working with public. If you dislike people as much as her, get a stay at home job. We ordered a macchiato that we asked to have hot, just like the drink she had just served a customer prior to us. The order came in a cold cup over ice. We asked (politely) to have the drink hot as we had ordered. I was told “ You can get back in line and buy another!”. All the while refusing to even make eye contact with us. I did not understand why the drink couldn’t be heated. She said “Put your drink over there, (trash area.)” I at that point realized she meant she couldn’t personally handle our drink since we had touched it. However, to have such an attitude, is just awful. I asked if there was a manager , her nor the girl next to her would answer me. I asked again and was given a stern “no”. I told the above employee that her attitude was just awful, especially after we left her a hefty tip. We were polite and are frequent visitors to your cafe. The employee did remake the drink hot and said when she placed it on the counter that she “upped the size”. I appreciate that she did that but, would’ve preferred an apology and a much better attitude, which I mentioned to her as well.

This little Bakery and Cafe is wonderful! A tad hard to spot, we drove past it, because of signage, or lack thereof, but the owners said they're working on it so that will help. Food was delicious, the flavor combos are a little party for my taste b
I will forever recommend all future brides I meet to this store! I think the best place to start this review is with the staff, I felt like a literal princess as they guided me to finding my perfect dress. Other stores Iâve been to made me feel lik
