Cupbop - Korean BBQ - Korean restaurant in Roy - 6050 S 3500 W, USA

I was so disappointed! I was so grateful they have gluten-free options, and I've eaten cupbop a few times before and LOVED it. But this was so bad.. I don't know if I'll even go back! My noodles were so hard that I couldn't chew them, literally! My chicken was dry, cold, and awful! To top it all off, they gave me no sauce, none, which everyone knows their sauce is what makes them good and unique. I hate to leave a bad review for anyone..but this was terrible.

First time getting Cupbop and was a little disappointed. Food was fine, but not much meat. I didn't get any rice and I felt like there were too many noodles, but I guess you gotta fill it up. Service was good, I ordered online and got out immediately. Online menu is really confusing though, it doesn't explain the difference in sauce or provide lots of details Server was nice, but space felt cramped. Also kinda expensive.

First and last time here. What a disappointment. We are gluten free and sugar free. Got 5 pieces of rubbery chicken (if you can call it that seems like they got it from McDonald's) the rice was old and hard. I would guess i got a tbs of cabbage. Mostly rice and rice noodles. No flavor at all. Way over priced for noodles/rice/chicken. They do not have any sauces that are sugar free so we used are own and had to use ALOT just to eat it. The girls working seem too distracted to help people. We waited over 20 min for our order and there were people in front of us that still hadn't gotten their when we got ours. We got the Ugly Bop and it is appropriately named. A waste of 22.62. **update over a week later ** I sent an email to the corporate office (the same email thru have asked others to reach out to them with) to give them a chance to discuss this location and........crickets. Sorry folks they just don't care.

Amazing team, awesome service and DELICIOUS food!! 100% recommended to all my family and friends. So glad they came to Roy!! Second visit in a week and probably coming back tomorrow!

I'm not sure how this place has so many 5 star reviews. The food legit tastes like rice and noodles doused in mayonnaise. Here's my first ever experience at CupBop. I walk in, the lady directs me to the self service kiosk (exactly what you want your first time at any place, talk about adding the person touch to customer service!) Well anyways I sit there for so long trying to figure it out that there's a line behind me. Rather than asking if I need help she just starts helping the people behind me, which is reasonable but why not ask if I need help first? Oh yeah, her "inside voice" was at a level 8 which is 100% an outside voice lol But anyways, I wait in line, the soda machine is out and the prices are equivalent pretty high. Kids meals don't come with a drink anyways, so the soda machine didn't matter. So they wait until they have a ton of tickets (orders) and then make them all at once, rather than making them one at a time and getting a flow. The outside voice lady (really she was like 17), gets frustrated easily and displays it in front of the guests. Either way food prep took way too long for what it was. We get home, food was luke warm at best, I live maybe 4 minutes from location so food being cold was on them. We open it up to eat and SURPRISE! They throw rice and noodles in a cup, smother it in mayo, throw a few pieces of meat on it and charge you $12/Person! Working in food as long as I did, I can tell you this MAYBE cost them $3 to make, rice and noodles are dirt cheap just like mayo. The flavor was gross (unless you LOVE mayo), my wife didn't even eat it and my kid ate the meat and that's it. I was left with $30 worth of food, $30 for two adults and 1 kid btw, and it wasn't even good... Like seriously, just mayo? Probably won't ever be going back. I really don't see what all of these 5 stars are talking about...

Beef & noodles with your choice of how hot you want your sause. Not to mien on there rice. Overall the taste was good! We will be back.. 🍜

My visit to Cupbop Korean BBQ left me with mixed feelings. Unfortunately, my first experience wasn't great. I specifically requested no rice and more noodles due to dietary preferences, but my order still had rice in it. This made me question their attention to detail. Additionally, the taste of the food was okay, nothing exceptional. The flavors didn't quite live up to my expectations. While the concept of BBQ in a cup is interesting, my order being incorrect and the average taste left me feeling underwhelmed. Hopefully, they can improve their order accuracy and enhance the flavors for a better dining experience.

Three out of the four tables in the dining room were taken up by employees. one employee even had her small child in there that kept running through the dining area and screaming and not even the manager had anything to say. I will never go back there again
