Culver’s - American restaurant in Sandusky - 4637 Milan Rd, USA

I have never eaten at a Culver’s before but the parking lot was slammed so we figured the food must be good. We decided to hit the drive-thru thinking it would be quicker…it was, but not by much. So, I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. It came out in such sad shape…pics at the bottom. All squished up and just looked sad. The paper surrounding it was oily and just a mess. I had to remove the paper and just wrap the flattened burger with a napkin. Definitely not off to a great start. Overall the flavor of the burger was good. It only had like 6 little mushrooms in it but I can see where it held promise if time/attention had been given to it. Next up, sweet tea. Omg - I never in a million years thought I could drink a tea that would be sweeter than McDonald’s…but here it is! It was like taking a big gulp of simple sugar. I had to pour 1/4 of it out and mix some bottled water into it just to dilute it enough to drink. Someone needs to check that ratio of sugar to tea before they cause all their customers to become diabetics! Lol The onion rings were great and served hot. The fries were cool with almost no salt on them. We tossed those out. Well, there you have it. First experience at a Culver’s. I will say that for 2 full meals it was only $18 so the price is definitely a good value. Had the food been prepared a bit better, this would’ve been a home-run. That butter flavored bun is awesome! Seriously, who doesn’t love butter?! I’ll probably give them a whirl again as we are traveling but maybe we will dine in so we can hopefully have a better experience.

These workers move fast I’m amazed at how well they move together in unison to get orders out the door. Not one single employee did I see standing around they are constantly on the move. The food is fantastic and we got our orders quickly. Mind the Karen’s in the review section.. who takes a picture of an employee and posts it for the world to see childish. Anyways keep up the excellent work Culver’s

Always enjoyed Culver's! This location is cleanly and very nice. The food was yummy and the ice cream was great also. We have used this location multiple times and will continue doing so. If you need a suggestion my goto is a double butter burger with bacon and a peanut butter banana milkshake!

The red head with the glasses that took our order was awesome!!! So personable- talked to my child, and was super fun while taking our order. This was the best experience at a Culver’s!! You should hold on to that lady and give her a raise!! The food was awesome too!!!

We ordered 5 meals-4 kids meals and 1 adult meal. They had no broccoli for kids meals, no bags were given for the kids' meals. The kids didn't think they would get their ice cream when my daughter went up to get her bag the cashier asked my 9 year old for her receipt! Are you kidding me.... we wait 20 minutes or more for our food. It appeared that the drive thur customer where getting there good faster than inside customers. The manager was nice seemed like he was the only one doing all the running around.

Ordered food daughters food came without her bacon on then I see mine that's supposed to be a smokehouse BBQ chicken Burger and it looks nothing like the board showed the buns even look different and they had a dab and I mean a dab of barbecue sauce on to the point of it was it under my pickles and I'd even know I had any. I am going to post pictures you tell me if I am wrong

The staff was awesome. Food was perfect. My fries were hot and fresh. Only negative was it was a little cold in dining room but the weather had turned cold today.

Update: we went tonight and they didn’t give us the salt packet we asked for. Wahhhh. First time trying their food and it was really good! Last night we wanted ice cream after cedar point and happened to Culver’s! The hours on their site showed they closed at 8 pm but when we drove by a little after 9 they were still open! We both ordered the concrete mixer. My fiancé ordered vanilla with Reese’s and I ordered the vanilla with sugar cookie pieces and strawberry- it was the best treat I’ve ever had! There’s one closer to us that we will prob stop by soon!
