Culver’s - American restaurant in Ottumwa - 1801 Venture Dr, USA

Culver’s is always a great place to get a burger and fries!!! Their food is always fresh, and I really enjoy getting a cut above fast food in a fast food restaurant!!! The cheese curds still remain the best that I have ever had!!! I love to eat them anywhere, but Culver’s definitely has the best!!! They have great ice cream and milkshakes!!! Check out their concrete mixers!!! They are awesome and are like a really thick milkshake!!!! Go check them out and enjoy for yourself!!!

The food is always good and fresh but for some reason Culver's wants to upgrade burgers to cheese without permission. Happens in other locations as well.

It was amazing. The drive thru speaker was not working well but we pulled up and gave them our order. When we pulled up we saw someone was already fixing the headset and the were quick and efficient with our food and drinks.

I came here wanting a good meal with my boyfriend and couldn't get that at all. I asked for cheese curds on the side, and they couldn't do that. I also asked for no onions and mustard, and they put it in my sandwich. They gave us the wrong ice cream. They gave us 1 thing of ice cream when we ordered 2 custards. My boyfriend went to the front desk and told them about our order being messed up. They told him that they can't do anything to fix it that I'd have to pay for the whole meal again in order to have it right.

I'm actually not a fan of the burgers, they're not too flavorful in my opinion but I really like the spicy chicken sandwich. It was very tender and had good taste. The peach mango shake(?) Was also really good. I liked the chunks of fruit. You do have to pay for sauce which is sad but the house sauce is really good with the fries and it's a big container. The service was mediocre, could've been better I think. Not too friendly and didn't ask if I wanted a receipt.

Food was good even though they didn't make it as requested. Messed up on malt sizes and instead of remaking one, they wanted both drinks back to remake both after my daughter had already started drinking hers. Manager was young and inexperienced, General Manager was rude and made comments as she walked away from the table to get laughs from the manager. I will never go back there again, I'm sure I wasn't pleasant either but had they just remade the one drink I'd have been fine. Most places would have said well we messed up go ahead and keep that large and we'll remake this one. Not Culver's, never again!

Culver's is always a good place they me your food fresh so there is a slight wait but is worth it

It's Culver's, which means the burger is cooked to order, the fries are always hot and good and the custard is amazing. If the flavor of the day is Andes Mint...it is a must stop!
