Culver’s - American restaurant in Marquette - 3033 US-41, USA

The staff was beyond friendly from the moment I walked in, to the well wishes on the way out of the door. Best front of staff service I’ve seen, patient, smiling, hard to explain in a review. The food was reasonably priced and portions were generous. Very kid friendly, all kids meals come with ice cream (custard). Many of the hanging light fixtures were broken, exposing sharp glass edges.

The prices have gone up, and the food quantity and quality have gone down. Really disappointed as this was the one fast food place I enjoyed and felt was worth the money. My Reuben sandwich tonight was on regular, small sandwich bread (not the thick nice toasty marble rye it used to be). It was much smaller than it used to be. And my basket price was nearly 11 dollars. I could easily go to a sit down restaurant and get a better meal for this price which is what I'll be doing in the future.

I like the way Culver's brings your food to the table. When they have you a plastic number, it may give the impression that it will take awhile to get your food, but that is not the case. It was faster than other fast food restaurants I have been to lately. Restaurant was clean and workers were polite. My burger and onion rings were good, but not so fabulous that I would give it five stars. If you enjoy fast food, I would definitely stop here though.

I love culver’s, and i’m willing to wait for good food. But we waited in the drive through (after ordering) for over 30 minutes and by the time we got our food it was cold. We only ordered a deluxe burger and a kids meal. The fries were hot and the rest was cold, not even room temp but cold. the ice cream/custard we got… it was literally 90% melted with a small chunk of ice floating in the milky liquid. It was not eaten. I had a feeling that they either forgot about us or they were waiting for the fries to cook. Would not recommend this particular store.

Had a really good burger here for lunch. Service was a bit slow and they forgot our soup- we were in the drive thru. My wife did like her soup though. And if you haven't tried it, get the cheese sauce for dipping your fries. Yeah, it's not very healthy but if you were concerned about that I don't know that you would be eating here.

We waited 20 minutes for only a medium mixer and one cup of ice cream. When it was finally done, it was melted and watery. We did not eat it. I was very frustrated because we had waited so long. I asked to speak to a manager and get a refund. The guy in charge was named Fred. He told the employee he would be out shortly to talk to me. 10 minutes later, still no management. I asked another person to get him. He came back and said he was on the grill and said he would be a few minutes. Another 15 minutes passed. By this time, I was beyond unhappy. Another employee went back. I heard the so-called person in charge tell the employee to tell me he was in the bathroom and would be a few minutes. After a 1/2 hour of waiting for a refund, he finally came out. Never apologized. He asked what I needed. I told him I wanted a refund. He handed it to me and just walked away. He was very rude. The employees all looked pretty lost with no guidance. The place was dirty, and the bathroom was trash. This was the absolute worst Culver's I ever experienced. Normally, I visit other Culver's, and they have been wonderful. I'm glad this one is nowhere near where we live. We were just passing through the area. The owner needs to get a new staff. The lowest I could give was a 1 star rating, but I would give a minus if I could.

Good food and they get it too you reasonably fast when when they are very busy both inside and drive-thru. The food is good, they have a lot of options s for side. And I love the shakes.
