Culver’s - American restaurant in Fort Atkinson - 1551 Madison Ave, USA

I really like the selection and the food is very tasty. This location seemed to be missing the cleanliness other Culver’s have. The tables, the soft drink area were sticky and my shoes literally sticking to the floor. I brought it to the young guys attention at the counter sadly he just went on with life.

Go to whitewater, better food, still less overall time even with the extra drive, better service. We’ve had issues with forts Culvers for over 5 years. Went there in Dec 2023 with same issues. We found a golf ball size ice chunk in our 3 year olds custard! And the water tasted like bleach..

If you look up the word “incompetence” in the dictionary you will see a picture of this Culvers location. It’s seemingly staffed with no one over the age of 16 at all times. Most of these kids are so socially awkward and/or oblivious, it’s literally uncomfortable being inside. The issues here, both with the food and the service, are so frequent it’s almost hard to believe that it’s not intentional. Plan on double checking your food when purchasing from this location, your chances are about 50/50 at best that it will be wrong. Within the last month (December) I’ve been to this location 3 times, and each time there has been some sort of issue. The first time, after placing my order in the drive through, I pulled around and then proceeded to sit at the window for 20+ minutes without acknowledgment. I was about to drive away when an employee finally came to the window to take my payment. After pulling up and waiting another 10 minutes for them to bring my food out, I looked in the bag and it was not even what I had ordered. The 2nd time I went inside to order, only to then listen for 5+ minutes to who I’m assuming was a manager argue with an employee about how much food he could use a discount on. Literally in front of everyone waiting for food, perfect example of that awkward atmosphere I mentioned above. Then tonight I went through the drive thru and ordered a chocolate malt. At the window they handed me a cup which was about 3/4 full and was barely blended. I could literally see malt powder sitting on top. I tasted it & it was gritty because the powder wasn’t blended in. I asked if they could blend it a bit more, they took it back in and gave it back 30 seconds later looking exactly the same. Can’t even make this stuff up lol.

Been here multiple times. Service & order accuracy seem to have improved since the new franchisee took over in recent months. Food is usually tasty because… well, it’s Culver’s! 😉 I’ve had issues with concrete mixers being made wrong or longer than usual wait times in the drive-thru in the past, but it’s been a while since that happened.

Cool and relaxing after a hot afternoon in the park. The custard is creamy, smooth and delicious. It really cools you from inside out when you let it do it's job. French fries ALWAYS perfectly done, soft and flaky, tender potato flavor inside. Outside they're golden brown with just the right amount of toasty flavor, but never greasy. This is hard to do folks, but every Culver's I've ever visited past 30 yrs in south central WI always gets this right.

Culver's is always good. The people are professional and friendly. I've never had a bad experience at any Culver's and I really love their Concrete Mixers. This trip I switched it up to chocolate custard and Butterfinger chips. It was smooth and delicious! All of their food is good.

They overcooked and burnt my cheese curds. Super gross to eat something that isn’t supposed to be extremely crunchy. The service was also terrible. The woman working had a terrible attitude and without a doubt gave the bad food out of carelessness. UPDATE: this food made me extremely sick. It had me vomiting my brains out. Never again.

Well, I be damn, after reading the awful reviews, I tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt. I ordered the shrimp 🦐 basket combo and the shrimp were uncooked they were raw as a uncooked hot diggdy dog 🌭 I will not return to this 📍 location! Good luck
