The owners are clueless and their lack of care for current customers is astonishing. Their software is archaic and my dog could build a better system in excel. It’s comical they made it this far but, can’t last much longer.

Cheftec is a good program but the server they are running it on is terrible. It goes down at least once a week. When this happens you lose a day or more because it takes them forever to get it running again. They got your money but they sure don't give the service.

Crooks. Won't refund my $2,175. Use Craftable instead. I had a personal credit card on file before I received my company credit card. When I received the company credit card, I requested to have the personal credit card removed from their files. I left the company before the next billing cycle and my company card was cancelled. They still billed my personal credit card. The charge came a week before Christmas, while my 2 year old son was hospitalized with a respiratory infection. I missed the charge... I still haven't seen a refund.

Great customer service and support! Easy to use, set up and navigate. Patrick Stack is awesome to work with, he always makes time to help me out...if he doesn't know, he gets the professionals involved. Highly recommend this product.

Cheftec is the worst software ever. Do not trust these people. Spoke with Joe Sanchez, who promised Cheftec would run our culinary software needs. He lied. About everything. On Prem software never worked. The system is oriented towards one profit center. After taking our $6000 investment, we were left with a software system that was never setup correctly. They never inquired about what our software needs were. Joe S. pushed like a used car salesman, just to get a sale. He lied about licensing. He lied about features. Every time we came across a programming problem, it was always an additional $3000 to purchase add on modules, that were never discussed. After ONE YEAR of frustration, Our company was pushed away by Culinary software services. They offered zero support. Zero compensation, and have avoided all phone calls since. They have gone completely silent and refuse to take any calls, emails or engage in any useful conversation. I am using all my connections on Social Media, Review sites and even legal methods to make my case heard. To the unwary- DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.

Could not live without it! I operate a high-volume commissary producing prepared foods for a chain of supermarkets. Every day I can see what my food cost and margins are for every recipe allowing us to increase or decrease our retails accordingly. ChefTech creates production sheets, scales recipes precisely and instantly, and prepares vendor order guides. The training team worked with us for close to 1 year which gave my team and I a complete understanding of every facet of this powerful program. It is with the UTMOST respect and gratitude that I post this review of this most incredible product and even more incredible people whom support it. In my many years in this hospitality business, there are many many companies i have sworn at. Chef Tec (Culinary Software Services) is a Company that I swear BY!! I have been using this product for decades and have not once been unable to use it and/or not been able to get a question answered. Growing from 1 location to 5 would have not been possible without this Chef Tec software. It is not only great in helping write and cost out standardized recipes to follow, but its interfaces make ordering, accountant, and menu engineering almost seamless. Even More impressive, if that is possible, are the people whom have assisted us throughout the years. Louis has ALWAYS been a staple in those incredible people and Today Elliot continued the tradition of providing excellent, exception, courteous, and knowledgeable answers to our questions. I apoligize for not remembering everyone (Bev, Rohini and MaryAnn come to mind), but I tip my hat and send hugs of thanks to all of you. Chef Tec is truly an incredible, easy to learn product that delivers immediate results. As I stated before, I swear BY this product (and its People) and do show it and recommend it to any person looking for ways to improve and/or grow their operations. Keep up the GREAT work.
