My wife and I love visiting wildlife parks and preserves and this one didn’t disappoint. A map near the Peak 7 Trailhead would have definitely helped us plan a bit better. It’s a beautiful place for a nice walk!
This was a great walk. The trail is well maintained and relatively easy to walk on, but watch those tripping hazards (tree roots and rocks). There are a few hills, but they are not steep or high. Along the trail are a few observation platforms. We saw many birds and squirrels and enjoyed ourselves.
Lovely trail! We were lucky that it started snowing the day we decided to go on this trail. We had WONDERFUL scenic views of the gulch and trail. It's a fairly easy hike, and took us about 1.5hr (total roundtrip) to complete including plenty of stops for taking pictures and enjoying the snow (with a few snowball fights). :)
Great easy trail for nature viewing. Spotted moose on two early morning hikes. Naturalist at cabin near beaver pond was friendly and informative. Some days we would get a short shower so bring along some rain gear but most were short.
One of my favorite hikes in #Breckenridge. This is a mostly easy hike offers a variety of wildflowers and picturesque surroundings. There are several trails through the area. If you are lucky you can spot some wildlife. We saw deer and have seen moose in the past. If you would like to hike down the trail instead of up, you can get close to the trailhead using the gondola.
Nice walk through the wildlife preserve. If you are quiet and look closely, you just might be rewarded with a moose sighting or two. Easy hike with about 300' elevation gain over 3 miles. I recommend for nature lovers of all ages.
Fun, easy hike with a lot of great views and an abundance of wildlife. Fortunate enough to stumble upon a bull moose. Just ignore the random construction sounds that echo throughout the gulch.
The place is fabulous for a midday hike. The time you take there it depends on you. It could be from 30 min to 2 hours. And the most amazing thing is all the wild life you can find

Craved a flavorful, tasty and fresh meal after wandering the town. I am lucky to have found Mount Golian Grill. This restaurant is clean, nicely decorated and cozy. The food was phenomenal and the service was great. I can only highly recommend it.
