Food was good. Servers were efficient and fast, not very chatty. A woman, perhaps the manager, did come over later to make conversation. She was lovely. She explained that Cubist Circle really specializes in spicy cuisine and invited me to return to try other dishes. My Hot and Sour soup and Cucumber with Garlic were really delicious. Green tea came in a mug with a Bigelow tea bag, as opposed to in a tea pot. Atmosphere is big, lots of space, large rooms, feels like a venue for events not like a regular restaurant. I was quite chilly and the bathroom was cold. I think if it had been crowded at night, the feel would have been quite different.
So, I absolutely love this place. I love the decor, and the people are very friendly. This is genuine, traditional Chinese food, with American Chinese options and sushi as well. They also have a bar. I gave 4 out of 5 for food just because the spice level is hit or miss. I always want it spicy, but sometimes, for whatever reason, they reduce the spice level (literally two out of our last 5 visits). We order traditional food such as 水煮肉片 and 麻婆豆腐, specifically because we want spicy Sichuan food, so that can be a little disappointing sometimes, especially given the cost. We will continue to come here because it's the best traditional restaurant near us.
Cubist Circle is the size of a banquet hall, so it was a little odd being the only customers there. The dining area feels very open and spacious, and service was very swift and attentive. The food was excellent, with a good combination of flavor, spice, and ma (numbing). The server was careful to ask our preference regarding spiciness and numbing. I ordered the House Style Spare Ribs which arrived with bamboo shoots, pea pods, and mushrooms in a rich gravy. A small bowl of white rice was an extra charge but reasonable. The portion was plenty for a filling dinner with enough left over for a second filling meal.
Lovely Sichuan restaurant in Quincy! This is an unexpected gem of a place to eat! Prices are very reasonable at this spacious Sichuan restaurant. The service staff are terrific and the owner is lovely. They’re all very helpful! The spicy fish soup and the green chilli beef are to die for! Make sure you order both of those. The fried rice is homemade style and reminds me of what my mom cooked when I was young. Finishing off the well seasoned and spiced meal with the Chinese Binfen dessert was just the right touch to close out the meal. Dishes were between $10-20 each. My only one feedback is that the space/ambience wasn’t quite right for the type of restaurant. The ceilings were cathedral style and place felt a bit too bright for a restaurant. Otherwise, great restaurant to stop by!!!
The general gao chicken- the meat was cooked well. But the sauce was very nauseating, it was basically jelly when i received it. I ate a few pieces and threw the rest away. When i tiled the spoon the sauce didn't move. That and they did not provide me with white rice- which is supposed to be included in the meal. The crab rangoons were just ok, some were over fried. The dumplings were good though.
This restaurant is huge and has a tone of seating. The design inside is pretty cool too. Very bright and a lot of open seating. Very large selection on the menu. The mala dry pot was a bit too salty. There were a lot of things included in it but it doesn’t show on the menu! I wish you had the option to select what goes in. The spicy wontons and Dan Dan noodles were the best thing I had at dinner. the spicy wontons itself were a bit lacking in flavor but with the sauce it’s pretty good. Dan Dan noodles were very favorable but missing a bit of cucumber. String beans were pretty good but could be a bit more crispy. I do want to try their sushi and other dishes in the future.
Food tasted very plain. The atmosphere feels like a large home depot storage bin. The price is very high. For each dish, they put a very small portion of meat compared to other restaurant while charging the same or higher price. I would not recommend.
This is a hidden gem. They have authentic Szechuan dishes. The dumplings are homemade. You can taste the Quality in it. The fish in Mandarin sauce was amazing. The tuna taco was fresh and crispy. The gray short rib was so tender and favorful. The winter rose was scrumptious. The Dan Dan noodles was so soft and spicy. The fried rice was good. The rice roll in brown sugar was sweet and soft. It's pricey, but worth every penny. Staff was so helpful and nice. Definitely will be back
Had a great drone flight from the hill. Got LAANC authorization and then had a great flight out to the water. Great spot to get pics of boats, shore, and the water storage unit.
Located on Route 18 this diner is a must stop. It's menu has various features for both breakfast and lunch . The staff are attentive and helpful. They are very accurate on their orders. The food is phenomenal and you cannot beat their prices! Such a
Quite area to walk and sit near water. Maybe have lunch and enjoy views at picnic tables. Historical plaques Abigail Adams wrote to read while walking the paths. Colorful flowers and cool tree structure.
2nd time at Jenna's! Didn't disappoint. I got the turkey club with waffle fries. The bacon was super crispy and the fries were seasoned perfectly. My friend got a burger that was also delicious. Then we shared and oreo frosty, soooo good! Service is
Great food, fantastic atmosphere, great live music - what else can somebody ask for? Loved having dinner here. The fish tacos were really good but the brown rice that came with the dish was out of the world. Strongly recommended.
Small, quaint, clean hole in the wall sushi place in Weymouth. Great friendly attentive professional courteous service by Lacta T. Had some awesome delicious sushi and rolls. Ordered the chicken wings as appetizer. For dinner we ordered the special o
