Crystal Palace Resort - Hotel in Crystal Beach - 1600 TX-87, USA

The place was wonderful. Been staying here for a week now and the front desk and staff are great. Very low key and 🐕 pet friendly. The rooms are remodeled and perfect for the dogs, kids it has been raining the hole time I have been here but I will hit the pool as soon as it stops. I would definitely come back.

Hotel is NEW!! They owners have totally remodeled the property. It is still "older style" hotel, however it has been made new again. The rooms are nice and very clean. The pool area is very nice with lots of tables and chairs, an area to grill and string lights for a nice scene at night. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would and will stay here again. My stay was early August of 2024. It was quite at night with lots of space to park in the back of the hotel (I had a small trailer.) Felt safe and your vehicles are out of sight from the roadway, making me feel OK about the things in my trailer still being there by morning. Highly recommend!

This family owned resort is a terrific location to base your own family for a big event at Crystal Beach. Way better option than rolling dice with ferry delays. The owners bent over backwards to ensure our reservations, rooms, and handicapped accommodations for older guests were best as could be. Rooms were comfortable and adequately cooled. Good pool setup. Terrific value for the money!

This was a last minute trip planned for my friend and I ! For the price it’s been a great experience! The room was clean and very spacious! I was able to bring my large dog with me for only $20.00 extra a day ! Way better than a kennel and he did great ! Plenty of grassy areas for him to run and potty ! The staff here is extra friendly and went out of their way to accommodate! We got to check in an hour early which was great so we could start unwinding a little earlier ! The pool is huge and sparkling clean with plenty of shaded areas during the day and it’s very well lit at night ! I will definitely be back for a couple day getaway from Houston again ! Oh and the bed was so incredibly comfortable especially the pillows!

The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, our stay at Crystal Palace Resort was fantastic, and we can't wait to return. If you're looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway, look no further. Highly recommended!

Overall if you want to stay in a super cheap place where there are almost zero accommodations and zero concern for customer satisfaction, or you just want to ruin at least 1 day of your vacation, this is your place! We were very very disappointed. We arrived late in evening to start the 1st day of our 2 day fishing trip. Room was terribly HOT, refrigerator was turned down all the way and melted water inside and on the floor around refrigerator. Could not use the refrigerator which we needed. A/C was also left OFF. Even though we turned it on right away, it never cooled down. Owners must now their A/C unit is defective because they have a fan next to it. My wife and I spent all night sweating and unable to get any sleep at all. She has blood pressure issues and this did not help. Went to office at 3:30 am to discuss a room switch and office locked. Rang night bell, no response. Called from room phone, nothing. Came back at 5 am still closed. Came back at 6:15 still closed. Unable to access ice machine (locked inside office), no coffee maker in the room and unable to get to coffee locked in office. Room smelled of fresh kills paint that was very strong. Could see fresh paint runs on floor, light fixtures etc. Had to leave before office opened and unable to address grievances. Was going to let it be. They sent me an email soliciting reviews. I sent them an email explaining our experience requesting some communication and after 3 days, no response. Terrible business. Update - owners reply stating their team made multiple attempts to address this issue is a completely fabricated statement. Simply unbelievable. They do not deserve to be in control of a business that serves the general public whatsoever.

Our air conditioner was not working and the manager “Harry” came and checked on it! He moved us to the room next door because it was not working! He was very pleasant every time I talked with him! Having the pool was awesome after being on the beach! Thank you!!

Quiet location for budget friendly old motel. Room was relatively clean but smelled so strongly of Lysol that, even after 3 days following check in, people said my clothes smelled of Lysol. No openable window so had to keep door open lots to make it inhabitable. That let in the bugs. Nice fridge/freezer and microwave. No closet or coffee pot.
