Staff very friendly and stop by daily in the early afternoon to check if you need anything (towels toiletries ECT). Room was a bit small but honestly in much better condition than any mid-grade hotels we've been to. Bed very comfortable, shower had very strong water pressure. There is a well kept private beach on the lake with a good view. Parking lot is a bit tight to get parked into if you have a truck but do able. Free wifi with good connection.
Perfect place to stay to enjoy Beulah and Crystal Mountain! Rooms were very clean and staff was very pleasant. Staff gets a 10/10 - they are shipping me a couple of shirts I accidently left hanging in the closet. Will stay here again!
Didn’t end up staying in the room and drove home instead. Dark, tiny outdated room with a very low bed. Then they called me to tell me I still had a balance at which I already had paid upon check in. Instead of caring about my satisfaction they were chasing money at which I had already paid them. Instead of asking why we instantly left, they said we should have let them know so that they could rent out the room again. That was the icing on the cake for me. Not worth $260 plus tax. Worst staycation I’ve ever planned. I did someone else a favor and was trying not to be rude or complain but since they called me at 9 pm telling me what I did wrong I felt the need to leave this review unfortunately.
Zee was very accommodating. Clean neat as a pin very nice sized cabin! I will definitely be back !
I’ve been going here for decades. Nicest people and great attention to detail in the rooms. I highly recommend. The sunsets on crystal lake are the best!! Beds are SUPER comfortable.
This place is a very beautiful ski lodge and golf course with lots of great accommodations.
My husband and I took a road trip around Lake Michigan, a Michigan Circle Tour. We were gone nine days and stayed in a different hotel/motel each night. We chose this place based on reviews and because other nearby places required more than one night's stay. You know what they say: Location, location, location. The room we were in was clean, so that was one positive. The furnishings looked time-worn. The beds were mushy and noisy. There is a road that passes in front of the resort, which we knew about. The traffic noise wasn't too bad. A very tiny bathroom. When we checked in, the woman made sure to mention a private beach. Please see the photo I took of this private beach. I guess it was private and I admit, it was a beach.
Great location, great sunsets, great people that run it. The day will come when we rent a cabin!

Food and beer are excellent, and when itâs sunny outside itâs bright and beautiful inside, even when itâs chills outside. Cocktails are seasonal, creative, and excellent. We have never had bad service and it feels like hanging out with friends.
This place is a Gem ! Very spacious sites, plenty of shade, decent river access to cool & refresh. Hand pumps & pits. Town of Honor 5 minutes away for supplies. Can't wait to come back !
So much fun! The front 9 and back 9 have very different styles, but both are great to play. Plenty to challenge anyone, the greens are challenging, and the fairways can be tight. And let's not forget the ubiquitous northern Michigan water and wildlif
Went for Friday night fish special, and it was very good! It is one of the few places around that serve smelt. They also had perch, walleye & bluegill. All of the fish was excellent, along with the service!
Got the Mediterranean pizza with breadsticks. Food was really good and owner was very kind and welcoming. Place was kept clean and food was out quick. Will be back when we return up north!
It was the best smelt dinner I have ever had! The waitress was by herself and working her butt off. She was still very friendly. You can walk down to crystal lake to see the sunset.
