My wife and dines there last Saturday after the movie in downtown. I ordered spaghetti and meat balls. I told our server (who was great) that I couldn't eat fresh tomatoes and I was just trying to make sure in advance that this would work. Food comes, and there are chunks of raw garden tomatoes all in the pasta. So I picked up a piece of tomato on my fork to show her. She really upset that my order had tomatoes in it. I told her it was cool, just have the cook whip me up some noodles with butter and garlic. Then a manager came by to make sure all was well. I said it was absolutely fine. The food came and it was delicious! The meatballs are awesome! And the noodles the cook whipped up for me were superb. Everytime our waitress passed she apologized again. I told her it was delightful and we would be coming back soon. I recommend all of you try it out. Very prompt and flexible dinners.

While thrilled that Crusco's had reopened, we weren't sure what to expect in light of the recent poor reviews. Happily we had a very different experience. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, our experience was exceptional. Beth, our gracious server, went out of her way to find the perfect wine for us and offered suggestions regarding what to order. The food was superb ( fungi polenta lobster ravioli ). Between our warm greeting upon entering, being seated in a romantic and quiet area and departing after a favorite dessert and coffee, we were not disappointed and eagerly look forward to our return.

Second visit was not ok. I wanted to process my thoughts over night. I wasn’t a fan of the alfredo sauce which seemed watery and brown and bland. I discussed it with the server after taking literally only one bite and I had my husband take one bite to see if he liked it. Waiter took food and brought back a few minutes later to set it back down. I explained I would like something else. He sent someone else owner or manager not sure. She didn’t seem to happy and made a comment that maybe its not the jarred sauce Im used to. Funny thing is I haven’t had to eat jarred Alfredo sauce in over 20 years. Nothing against jarred sauce at all but it was the remark as if thats all I could afford. I ordered pollenta told waiter Id rather try that he then took my tortellini with alfredo. Pollenta was ok loved the texture not a big fan of the sauce. We ate then ordered two desserts in addition. We really enjoyed one dessert the berry mascarpone cake it was moist and so delicious. We got the bill and they charged me for two plates minus half of one dish. Nothing I could say but at least they could have communicated that Im paying for the plate whether I liked it or not, in addition to another one before taking the plate. Not excited about our experience spent over $100-$150 per visit on two separate visits in a three week period. So I was hoping for a little better. We love spending money dining out frequently in our community and supporting our community but we also like good experiences. Ive kind of discussed this with friends before writing this. I just feel terrible as This was not the best experience. I try to leave great reviews but this one was overall disappointing.

First time going since new ownership. We were greeted by friendly staff. (And Kylie our server) Service was excellent and so attentive. We all ordered different dishes, the halibut was amazing; as with everything else. I really enjoyed the side of Alfredo and eggplant. Had homemade desserts, which were perfection. Peaked in the kitchen and met the fabulous chef. We are local (and had a chef in our group), had the best experience. Look forward to coming back. 👏 Bravo!

Sadly, we won’t be returning. The food is overpriced!!! The specialty of the night was horrible, had to ask for more sauce, very bland.. Deserts were frozen still.. Very disappointed… Out of 6 of us, only one enjoyed their meal. Caesar salad tasted like bagged salad… So disappointed!!! I’m not one to leave reviews, but thought it was important this time!!

Just passing through town on the way to Yosemite and made a reservation. So happy we did. Very friendly staff, excellent food, nice wine list. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Keep up the good work. The Verde Misto salad was wonderful as was the seafood Alfredo sauce.

Get the Chile rellenado. You won't regret it. We were looking for a Mexican restaurant that had good reviews and this was beyond my expectations. Chile rellenado can be hit or miss but I'm very satisfied with my experience. Service was great. Mexic
