We had an excellent time at CRÚ. The service was excellent and very accommodating and friendly to a disabled person in our party. The wine was excellent and atmosphere was top notch. My margherita pizza was a dissapointment, however everyone else in my party enjoyed their food. I'd definitely tell anyone who has never been to give it a try.

Had an amazing experience today at Cru! I come here often and always have a great time. Today my server, Andrea, went above and beyond! She was a pleasure to talk to, had amazing service, and was so knowledgeable about the products. I had a delightful experience! 10/10 definitely recommend :)

Enticing atmosphere, friendly staff, & divine food. Andrea was a super knowledgeable server. She made our experience excellent & worthwhile. My mom & I appreciated your kindness & eagerness to take the greatest care of us. Cant wait to visit Lexington again & bring my fiancé here. The wine flights were fun & Andrea provided us with lots of knowledge on the wines we were drinking. This was an absolute gem to stumble upon!

Cru Food and Wine Bar is located cates in an upscale shopping area in Lexington. The restaurant is small but comfortable. It’s a good place for a happy hour with friends. You can order a flight of wines or other drinks and try different kinds, which I did - a trio of Australian reds. We ordered the Wagyu meatballs and Caprese Salad appetizer. Both were okay. For entrees, I ordered the spare rib pizza and my husband ordered the filet. I liked my pizza fine but the filet was superb. My husband did not care for the potato gratin but I loved it. We will come back to try the cheese boards and drinks. But likely won’t order these same things again.

Food and wine were great. The server was busy, so we got no personal attention or extra info about the wine tasting event we specifically went for. We were told, "It is printed on your sheets, I can't remember it all," and info on the sheet was minimal. She never offered dessert or extra wine, just immediately brought the checks. When you don't feel welcome, you don't stay around for dessert or a full glass of wine.

Cozy italian restaurant with lots of wine choices and delicious food!! Best was the Goat Cheese Beignet!!! The Chefs American Pick cheese flight paired super well with our red wine!! Did not like the chocolate lava cake much though!! But still 5 stars for the goat cheese beignet!! The calming music and lights just make it worth visiting!!

This review is difficult for me to write because I usually love Cru. My girls and I frequently stop in during summer to enjoy their flights and the service and charcuterie have never disappointed before. When I saw that they were doing a NYE special dinner I was very excited! I booked a table for four scheduled for 9:45. We arrived early for our reservation and were greeted and seated by 9:35. Unfortunately, that is where the positive feedback stops. This was a 75$ per person dinner and there was no "subject to availability" or " limited quantities available" on the menu or online. They were out of the Crab Cake starter, and while this was disappointing to my husband I was not yet vexed since there were 3 other options. I was however borderline irate when our server informed us that there were out of THREE of the four options for entrees. I had planed on eating Filet Mignon Oscar with truffle potatoes gratin, broccoli, and crab Bearnaise for my New Years Eve. Instead I ended up with breaded chicken from the regular menu and broccoli, I didn't even get the special sides! The chicken itself was soggy and a noticeably smaller portion than another member of our party who also had to downgrade to it. Disappointed is probably the kindest way to describe how I felt. Not just because my replacement food was bad, but because the customer service was sub-par and I expected more from Cru. Our server was not at fault for our food woes, but she was distracted at best. We found ourselves looking up multiple times to see her on her phone when we needed something at our table. I did not complain, and I did not send my food back in the interest of enjoying my night, but I did end up in the drive through on the way to our NYE party. Long story not so short our dinner was hot garbage because they ran out of food and no one tried to make it better so we spent over 200$ on disappointment and Lava cake (That didn't even come with the promised whipped cream). Please do better Cru.

Our experience at this restaurant was great. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and prompt. We couldn't have asked for better. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience.
