Crowne Plaza Edison, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Edison - 2055 Lincoln Hwy, USA

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this property is maintained and managed. Guest services were professional, very friendly and swift to process me. Rooms were beautiful and very well maintained. Bath area was modern and immaculate. Main area is welcoming and inviting. Was not expecting to be offered breakfast and that was a plus for me. Staff was great - highly recommend.

From the minute I checked in I felt special. The check-in staff was quick and efficient. The room was clean and very comfortable. I slept better than I do at home. The pillows and linens were first class. Crisp and clean! I had the breakfast buffet which was fresh and healthy. My waiter was very polite, he even offered to cook me fresh eggs! I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area and also try the brand in other cities I travel to.

Front Desk staff member was outstanding. The new lobby layout was inviting. Bathroom lighting was improved. Tv`s were exceptional. Spacious closets. Great mattresses. Housekeepers did a good job cleaning the room.

Stayed for over a week while helping a family member move. The staff at the hotel are terrific! They really made us feel at home during our extended stay, and they were friendly and helpful in every encounter from check-in to check-out. The room was very nice-- spacious, attractive, and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we appreciated having a Keurig, refrigerator, sofa, and desk in the room. All were well utilized during our long stay. We also loved that there was a lounge area on our floor with a microwave and a few dining tables. This was super convenient when we were eating take out. The included breakfast buffet had a good selection, and the made-to-order omelettes were terrific. Honestly, I think these were the best veggie omelettes I've had. On top of that, the servers in the restaurant were attentive and friendly. Zulema in particular has the best memory of any server I've encountered. After just one breakfast, she remembered our drink preferences and asked if we wanted the same choice of omelettes we had the day before. Astonishing! Breakfast was also enjoyable because the restaurant area of the hotel is quite lovely, so it was a treat to sit and look at the attractive surroundings. The hotel gym was small but serviceable and clean. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

We stayed for the weekend. Alex at the front desk was super accommodating, he gave us early check in because we got to the hotel 2 hours earlier than expected and as soon as a room was cleaned he got us in. The lobby and fitness center is super clean and looks beautiful. The rooms had comfortable beds, firm and soft pillows!, led mirror and a little mirror that comes out to help you do make up (my wife loved it). We loved the free breakfast the food was actually delicious! There’s a great Indian food spot across the street for lunch (try the goat biryani) it was also super close to the airport only about 25 minutes away. Would definitely stay again!

Crown Plaza Hotel has always been a customer friendly and relaxing environment. I first visited and stayed some nights in 2012. For sure they care for their Guests and all the rooms I ever stayed in are very comfortable and clean. It’s a very safe environment.

My room was spacious and comfortable. I didn't need the accessibility features, but it's good that they're there. Staff were friendly and courteous. Late-ish dining was fine - good service and tasty.

It looks like robbing stuff by housekeeping that customers leave behind in the room forgetfully is a common practice in this hotel. This is something that happened to us today after we checked out of the hotel . It came our realization that my husband forgot his jacket in the room’s closet and I called the hotel immediately mentioning the same . The receptionist informed me to call back in the next 20 minutes after talking to the housekeeping manager regarding the same . When I call back , I am told the manager is yet to go check the room . I was then promised a call back by the hotel in 15 minutes this time . To my surprise, nobody called back in 15 minutes. I call in again the third time and we hear the same response. This continued for the fourth time and then , annoyed with this behavior by the hotel staff, I try in again the fifth time and I am told the jacket isn’t in the room after housekeeping searched through. What annoyed us the most was that though we were promised several times with a call back by the hotel , no one called to keep us updated . Second, where did the jacket go while we were a 100% sure that it is in the room inside the closet neatly hung on a hanger ? Honestly, there is someone in housekeeping who’s been stealing stuff people leave behind and the hotel simply says we don’t have your stuff here. Simply put- Everything that happened to us with a hospitality brand like Crowne Plaza was something that was never expected.
