Great place to get a train into NYC. 1.5 miles to train station, we walked easily. Right into grand central (hint take the express, it’s much shorter. )The campground is quite nice. 4 stars as the bathrooms were not open near the RV and the whole place could use some upgrading. Nice trails to walk on as well. We are a small RV so would have preferred the tent area as the sites were more pleasant.

Clean, spacious, quiet and great location. We stayed here 4 times so far. The first time there was a blues festival. The landscape is beautiful. The beach area is clean. The picnic sections are spacious. The camping section is safe and quiet with a clean shower and restroom.

We run large events, but needed some down time from those, so we planned a get-together with a group of friends. The campground is nice. No frills, but has FHU RV sites, plenty of tress, nice walking trails and sits right on the Hudson River. The sites are pretty level and a decent size. Staff was always busy cleaning and we're really friendly. Lots of birds here for bird watching. We saw a ton of bald eagles. We are hoping to book another group outing here next year. Very close to Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown.

The camping area essentially is a grassland reserved for campers. Wasn’t busy. Usually there’s just very few campers there. Dogs are allowed. You have to sign in at the office at the entrance but no reservation beforehand is specially needed.

Our favorite campground on this month long trip. Beautiful and quiet. Well maintained. Nice walks and biking. Beach area looked nice. As stated before the bathrooms are dated and need spider web sweeping regularly, but still not bad. Great location for train ride into NYC. Only negative: RVs be careful of the roads around this camp. MOST are not good for rv travel.... very low bridges and terrible roads and too narrow. Do not go on ANY Parkway!!

Very convenient for rvs, & all campers. The park is spacious with loads of mature trees. Playgrounds are newish, nice beach. We had a lovely time. Convenient to go to the city, and many other areas if interest.

We stopped in at Croton Point Park on our way from MA to DE. Nice park all around. Four stars and not five because the road is tight coming into the campground, and many trees need to be trimmed. There is very little - to no - parking upon entering the park. If you’re in a big rig, especially if you’re towing, you’re simply not going to fit it in the parking lot. Once you get through the first gate you take a tight, winding road to the campground. Once you arrive there, the gate does not actually raise completely, so again, if you’re in a big rig, you will simply need to squeak in. Road is so narrow the speed bumps are installed in a way that creates a decent amount of body roll in the vehicle. Our site was quite sloped and the hook ups were not conveniently located. Our neighbor was parked an east 20 feet away from their hookups, so carry extra hoses and lines. Smaller vehicles and campers likely maneuver much more easily. We would come back again and it’s always easier when you know what to expect.

Nice campground to stay while visiting NYC. Roomy sites under trees. Quiet and safe. Great rates for a week-long stay. But, be careful how your travel with your RV to the campground. We took I-84 to US 9 south to the park with our 5th wheel and had no problem. If you try to drive to the park from the south you will experience many roads with extremely low bridges.

Nice little place that is east walk from marina. Offers seating along the street, inside and out back. The lobster sliders, house made chips and the chowder were very good. The chowder had great seasoning, better than what I had at Chelos in Warwick
