Crossland Orlando UCF - Extended stay hotel in Orlando - 12350 E Colonial Dr, USA

It's about what you'd expect of a cheap stay, good for 1-2 night stays. Our room actually had a fully equipped kitchenette (fridge, freezer, stovetop, microwave, & sink) only bad things are the mattresses feel decades old & we had a katiedid or something on the ceiling

This has been the WORST experience at a hotel in my life. This is also my first time writing a negative review. I did not plan on doing this but saw no other option. Shout out to Lisa at the front desk and Norman! Who are complete liars who will smile to your face. They said they would refund me for the 2 nights no questions asked, because of the utter mess there. They lied, they then lied to booking.com, and again to corporate because they have not done so, telling corporate it will take '48 hours' to process. It has been over 2 weeks and this situation occurred almost a month ago. From the plumbing issued and cigarettes smoke (room one) being moved (they said 10 minutes, waited over 40 minutes in the lobby without a person in sight) and a multitude of other issues and 2 rooms later for a 2 night stay. The kicker was a rough, burly looking man walking into my room at night when I was in bed. He could have assaulted me, I was alone, in bed, and terrified. If you can avoid this place, I RECOMMEND DOING SO AT ALL COST. Staying here is a risk to your safety.

We stayed at Hometown studios on Colonial drive in Orlando on December 28, 2023. It announced on the web site to be dog friendly but once we got there we had to argue about letting our dog in as they were refusing. Took a screen shot of the publicity and showed it to them. Finally let us in. Only to find another dog on second floor already there!! Our room was filthy so we ended up sleeping in our sleeping bags (got them from our camper van) and our own pillows. I passed the broom (again got it from our van) as the floor was crunchy with dirt. When we left the next morning we took pictures of the room. Left it a bit cleaner than when we went in!! We had made a $50 security deposit, were told they would give it back but never did! Went back for that on January 9th before leaving Orlando for up North. The manager, Cameron, looked it up and said that it was being retained by the Corporation by a certain Alissa and DIDN'T KNOW WHY it was kept. You'd think that the manager would KNOW!!! Will open a legal dispute when we get back home. It's a question of PRINCIPAL and what is right and wrong!! Feel ripped off for NO REASON and will NEVER go back to any sub-contracted hotel by RED ROOF!!!

Will never go back, stayed with ESA a few years back. It is now a nightmare. Room had only 1 bath towel, no soap or TP, no microwave, garbage cans or hangers in an extended stay reservation room. I wanted to checkout but was told my weeklong reservation was non-refundable and the manager along with corp. Customer Care never bothered to call me back and I stopped at the office daily and always told the GM was not available.

I don’t even know we’re to start. The hotel room was nasty and disgusting. I don’t know how the city won’t close down this hot mess. We’re do I start… I had a few roommates called roaches. The bed was broken, the floor was dirty beyond measure. Looks like someone cut there hair or shaved and was all over the floor and table. There was hair everywhere. There was even a hair ball under the sink. The toilet was dirty and full of hair, The room smelled like mold. The staff was nice. First room I checked was bad and he gave me another room and was as bad or worse. Also the guests of this hotel were weird. All you can smell was people smoking and doing things that are not appropriate. Almost feels like a crack house. I seriously don’t recommend this hotel to nobody. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. It’s better to sleep in your car than to stay here. Or pay more for a better room. I noticed that the owner was thanking people who put good reviews however looks like they never fixed nor corrected all the bad reviews.

I swear this hotel is so filthy ilthy that I couldn't walk on the floor. This not a hotel, the streets are cleaner this jail cell. The security Guard was a gentleman, helped me remove AC and changed it with an other hot AC at almost after midnight, floor has no carpet and looks like ghetto nasty dirty floor with roaches sharing the area. This is not a hotel. Security guard is the only good thing helping me and others calling him for the same reason. He did a good job, he deserves better job than jail cells.|When I woke up and went to check out, i tried to tell help desk about my situation, but she matches the jail room with her nasty look and not listening to me, i was afraid she will shoot me as she talking g ghetto to me and telling me "have a nice day" meaning get TFO. Please don't go to this hotel.youwill thank me. I went to others , but Developer in downtown was heaven, I went back to it few days since I was here looking for rent in Metrowest area.|

I stay in lots of hotels, but this one scared me. I had no choice as needed a place for the night.||||The front desk in not open 24 hours, so you have to get there before the desk closes.||||It appears many persons use the place as a residence. There is no security and seems sketchy. Was even a mechanic working on cars in the yard.||||The room leaves much to be desired. The first one was smokey and dirty and at the back and seems not secure and had it changed. Next one was not much better, but was at the front near the gas station. ||||They need to do a better job of having the people who live there not hanging around and propping open the doors to the stairs. It brings the quality of the place down

Worst place I’ve ever stayed!! In fact I didn’t stay, because it was so disgusting and smelly and I felt extremely unsafe. Was trying to save money by booking a cheap place but ended up wasting money because I was only able to get a partial refund. (And I had to fight for it). Don’t do it, don’t stay here unless you’re really truly desperate. There was roaches (dead and alive), bed sheets were stained, floor was dirty (and sticky?) toilet and sink leaked, and it smelled terrible.
