My CrossFit Northern Exposure experience began 4 months ago. I have been extremely impressed with the knowledge levels of all the staff and especially Emily. Being almost 70 and having a number of "issues" I was guided through the WODs in such a way as to not injure myself and I didn't. If I lived full time in Anchorage I would make my attendance here a "locked in" must do activity.
Amazing gym. I dropped in and got the best coaching / instruction of my life from Emily (have been doing CF for 9 years). Extremely attentive with knowledge, poise, and passion. Additionally, the hospitality from all of the members was incredible. Plenty of equipment, and open essentially all hours of the day. 11/10!
My husband and I visited Alaska from Arizona and was looking for CrossFit gym to stay active while we’re on vacation. We decided to come visit and do a workout at Cf Northern Exposure and was not disappointed! Emily was our coach and she was soooo good at breaking down the form andgiving the right cues to make sure we’re doing movement right. We’re definitely coming back but we highly recommend this gym!!!
Awesome experience with the Wounded Warrior Project. The coaches were awesome and good atmosphere!
Such an amazing place! We dropped in while on a trip and everyone was great. Coaches were super friendly as well as all the members. Facility is amazing and very clean. 10/10 suggest!
Great gym. Great people. Great vibe. A CF Turnagain member here and I can't express how grateful I am to be able to workout and build new relationships with such gracious and wonderful people, especially during this terribly tragic time. For CFNX to extend such a generous, unsolicited offer, is evidence to the benevolence of the owners who run this fine gym. All the coaches I've met have been so genuinely welcoming and kind since day one. Thank you personally and thank you from all members of the CF Turnagain community!
If you’re thinking about trying CrossFit for the first time or just looking for a new CrossFit gym to join, I strongly recommend northern exposure. I had never lifted a weight in my life, knew very little about what I was doing, and was nervous about going. But the instructor, Bill made me feel so comfortable and was incredibly helpful. I think it’s important for instructors to not be intimating but helpful and provide encouragement which is exactly what Bill does. (You should definitely take a class with him!) Show up & you won’t regret it!
Had to share how appreciative I am of CFNX opening their doors to Turnagain CrossFit members after our roof collapse. Everyone has been extremely welcoming and have made it feel like a very comfortable 2nd home. As only having experienced the evening classes taught by Bill, it's some of the best cueing and coaching I've received. He spends time to understand any issues/injuries you're experiencing and works to tailor the WOD for you. THANK YOU!!!

Jay is great! He pushes you hard, but is super mindful of your body's limits. I told him about some previous injuries, and he has worked hard to help strengthen those areas, minimizing my aches and pains. My balance and stability have improved. I hav
First time going and will definitely not be the last! Great atmosphere! The axe masters were attentive and newbies like myself, the best corrections when needed. They teach how to throw everything they have, from ninja stars to shovels. High recommen
