CrossFit Catawba Valley - Gym in Hickory - 2055 Main Ave SE, USA

One of my favorite things about CrossFit is the community. Just about every box I have been to has made me feel welcome and given me a heck of a workout! But I have to shout out CrossFit Catawba Valley for having me this week while visiting family in NC. The owners and the coaches are 10/10 people and the atmosphere they have created is what CrossFit should be all about! It felt like home away from home and I will definitely be back when I am in town 😊

I have been to a LOT of CF gyms throughout the country. This is one of the best spaces I’ve seen. Loads of room and equipment. I enjoy the folks and the coaching is smart!

All the coaches here are fantastic, they get to know you personally to ensure you get the best workout for you! I personally started around 35 lbs overweight and scared of Crossfit because I had no clue how to lift weights. They started with me one on one (or small groups with other newbies like me) with no extra charge to ensure I started off correctly and safely with the moves. In about 6 months with the Crossfit family I lost all of the weight I wanted, became extremely healthy and fit! Highly recommend this Crossfit Gym!

My wife and I were traveling to Hickory for the first time. We wanted to find ourselves a local CrossFit gym that we could drop-in. Fortunately, the friends we were staying with attend church with Ryan and his family. CrossFit Catawba Valley is the best drop-in I have ever done! Amazing facility, friendly and welcoming community, awesome coaching and the requisite gym dogs that I have come to expect at any serious gym. If you are visiting Hickory, this is THE place to workout. If you are lucky enough to live in Hickory then do yourself a favor and check this place out. If you are trying to figure out a fitness path you cannot go wrong here. Be not afraid, CrossFit is for everyone! These coaches are super at modifying a workout for ANY fitness level. Start that journey to better health at CrossFit Catawba Valley! The next time we are in town -- and we will definitely be visiting often -- we will be working out here.

CrossFit Catawba Valley is hands down the best gym you will find in the Hickory area. All the coaches are personable and really try to meet your needs and goals you are trying to reach. I have came so far on my fitness journey and I owe it all to the coaches here. Cannot say enough good things about this gym! Come check it out, you will not regret it!

Moved from Illinois a few months ago and was looking for a new CrossFit gym, and I found CVV while out running errands. Stopped in and talked to Ryan, and he showed me around and told me to drop in anytime to try it out. I came back a couple of days later for my first class, and I have been a member since. All of the coaches are great, and they each bring their own unique skillset to a class. The facility is huge and the equipment is in really good shape. Although I have only been coming for a few months, I feel like I've been a part of the CCV community for years! Whether you are new to CrossFit or have been doing it a few years, this is a great place to come!

This place is more than a gym. It’s a community of people dedicated to getting fit and doing better. There is no judgment at CrossFit Catawba Valley. Everyone is eager to help, teach, coach and cheer. The coaches are attentive and thoroughly guide you through each workout. I love my CrossFit family!

The absolute BEST CrossFit gym around! I’ve been going here for two years now and I actually look forward to going to the gym for once in my life! The coaches are super qualified and my fellow gym-goers are like family. I couldn’t pick a better place to become a healthier and stronger person at!
