When I moved to Boston I was very particular about the type of CrossFit gym that I wanted to join and so I spent a lot of time testing various boxes around the area. After my first drop in class on a Saturday morning at 617 Dorchester I was sold. The team and coaches here are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable and work with each individual to make sure they’re comfortable and challenged. The community is supportive and helpful whether you’re brand new to CrossFit or have done it for years. I feel so lucky to have found 617 and highly recommend this gym to anyone!
Amazing gym! We were members here for a couple of months, but ended up moving out of state and away. We LOVED our time at CF617. The community is warm and welcoming, and the facility is top notch. I will definitely be coming back to visit.

Cannot vouch for CrossFit 617 enough! I was visiting Boston from Puerto Rico for about a month and a half and needed a box to train at, and am so glad I chose this one. The coaches are incredibly professional and knowledgable, and the gym has an incredible community and vibe to it. Not the mention the programming is also fantastic. I'll absolutely be back when I'm in the Boston area.

Great local box! Professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and welcoming coaches with a supportive community that motivated me to achieve my training goals and have fun along the way. There is a plethora of equipment, a nice men's locker room space, and even an in house physical therapy studio. Excellent place to start or continue your fitness journey!

Beautiful, clean, and sunny, ft. a dog park, basketball court, baseball diamond, and playground. The hill is good cardio :) Feels relatively safe at night for commuting through (not technically open after dusk)
