My husband and I decided to stop for dinner since we have never been. We were so surprised how good the atmosphere, staff and food would be!||Living in Byram Township we always try to support local, but with few selections, it gets to be repetitive eat times. So on our way down Main St we both said..let's give it a try, new chief sounded good. ||The restaurant was simple but welcoming and very warm. The staff was attentive ensuring we had everything we needed. Our meal was so delicious!! My husband is a steak snob and took a chance, he was blown away.||We highly recommend the Inn for a causal dinner out! We wii be back.
The review is for the restaurant- my wife and I were a bit skeptical about coming here for the first time. The atmosphere were excellent elegant and cozy. Staff was kind and professional and even the chef came to say hello. The food was out of this planet! Had the smoked wings, scallops and stake. Everything was cooked to season to perfection. We will be coming back here for date nights and family events. The best restaurant in the area including Stonewood and Sheridan. So glad we came here
Fantastic place. Wings and tacos delicious. Only gripe, no gluten-free beer or hard cider. I would like them to check out DEPARTED SOULS brewer in Jersey City.
The food was exceptional. Our server was excelent. There is a handicapped entrance makes it extremely convienent to enter.
Best kept Secret in the county..food is amazing..served fresh everytime..The staff is wonderful..Chef is fantastic..We try something different every time..Best caeser salad.

This review is for the restaurant. We live a few minutes south of the Crossed Keys Inn and only discovered this gem a month ago when we saw the "Bar Open" sign. We decided to stop in and walked into a beautifully renovated bar and restaurant. We sat at the bar and was greeted by the sweet and friendly bartender, Staycee. She is the absolute best and makes fabulous cocktails! The food and service is amazing. We told our friends about it and they all love this restaurant, and Staycee too. It is now one of our local "go to" places. YOU MUST TRY IT!! You will not be disappointed.
Sadly, a very poor experience. First, there was only one person who was the server for the entire restaurant as well as the bartender. She tried but it was way to much to cover so as you can imagine the service was poor. Second, the food. We were so hopeful after getting the meatball appy. It was delicious, thats where it ended. The vegetable lasagna had a 1" section of the edge and the bottom that was burnt and black. The salmon was covered in peanuts but there was no description of peanuts on the menu. While not allergic, I don't like peanuts. You have to indicate if food contains nuts! It was also very salty in a teriyaki type sauce. An indicator to a restaurant is when patrons don't eat the food and don't wish to take it home there was a problem but no one asked. We watched as no less that 15 people walked out and had conversations with two other couples who had the same feelings as us. We were so hopeful as we used to dine here many years ago. I hope they get their act together and turn things around.
