My friend reserved a room for two nights the end of June for three adults. It clearly stated that cancellations are free before a specific date. Unfortunately, she had to cancel prior to the date but they still changed $40. It's not the money but the blatant false advertising. They will easily book the cancelled room, so will make unfair profit

This place is adorable and the most affordable I could find for the location. I believe I spoke with Eunice over the phone to make the payment and she checked my best friend and I in, she very sweet and kind hearted. The room smelled clean as soon as we walked in, and the beds are comfortable. Location is perfect, only a block from the water and maybe a 15 minute walk from the pier. If I come back to the area, I’ll be staying here again.

Nice little old school motel on the quiet side of Old Orchard Beach pier. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and owners are very friendly and accommodating. Stayed by myself and felt safe. They put out good coffee and coffee cakes for breakfast every morning and Eunice, rhe owner was a gem! The heated pool was nice also. Walk to the pier and downtown took 20 minutes either beach side or street side. Beach was hardly a block away. If you're looking for luxury, probably not your vibe, but I will definitely stay again!

Rooms right on beach. Pool and hot tub. Loaner beach chairs. Mgmt friendly and helpful.

A éviter si vous avez des enfants, la propriétaire ne tolère pas le bruit normal qu’un enfants en bas âge (environ 2 ans) peu faire. Les chambres était assez propre mais vieux, bien placé par contre par rapport a la plage et le pier. Nous n’y retournerons pas.

We've stayed here twice and had a very good experience both times. Management is super friendly and accommodating, and the location just can't be beat - you're 0.7 miles from the pier, close enough to walk but far removed from the noise, and your beach access is right across the street. The rooms are small but have everything you need; however, both times we had uncomfortable mattresses and / or pillows. They could really use updating. Otherwise you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal to stay right on the beach.

The whole stay was wonderful, the room was clean very homey feel, great location, heated pool, the staff was so friendly but the owner was a genuine kind hearted woman absolute pleasure to meet her. We will definitely be staying again and recommending to family & friends.

This motel is nothing short of amazing! Perfect location to hit the beach and only a short walk to downtown which is perfect if you like to go out at night! The pool is heated and SUPER CLEAN! you can tell it’s very well taken care of. The staff is absolutely top notch everyone is more than accommodating and so friendly. I’ve stayed here multiple times in different rooms and cabins and every time has been perfect. I will never stay anywhere else in Old Orchard Beach! The Crosswinds is where it’s at!!
