Mainer here! I visited the Crooked Tail Cat Cafe while down in the area visiting a friend. Being out of town and away from my own fur babies, when I saw the sign for a cat cafe while walking Greensboro, I had to stop. The check in process takes all precautions for the kitties inside into consideration, assuring visitors clean their shoes and sanitize their hands before entry. We had plenty of time to adore each cat resident, play with them, and browse the cafe. Highly recommend and wish I could have adopted all of them <3

I visited the Greensboro location with my boyfriend, we had a wonderful time! The staff was super friendly and you could tell they loved the cats! The cats were super adorable and playful!

$7 cost to get in per person. You can book for 30 mins or an hour. 30 mins is enough time honestly. A lot of these cats are very accustomed to humans and kind of overstimulated so don’t expect them to be super cuddly like your cat at home. Not necessarily a complaint, but just so you know what to expect.

One of our very favorite places to spend an afternoon! The staff is so friendly, it’s clean and beautiful in the cat area (literally picture perfect!) and the cafe is also delicious! Literally one of the best chai tea lattes I’ve ever had. The only issue is how we struggle to leave each visit without adopting every cat in the cafe! Also be sure to check out the local art and items for sale in the cafe area, I find the best gifts for my cat loving friends there!

Cat cafes are my happy place - if you don't think you like cats, just try and make it through this experience without smiling!

Want to hang out with some cute cats but don't have any at home? Cat cafes, originally found in Japan, have made their way stateside. I've had a chance to visit two such cat cafes, Crooked Tail being the one closer to my home. For $11, you get an hour in the cafe to pet, play with, or just watch cats do cat things. If you'd like to take a particular kitty home, they do adoptions, too. It;s a nice experience, and staff is helpful. Haven't tried their cafe offerings, I'm here for the cats, lol A couple words of warning: They fill up quickly, so book online in advance for a guaranteed spot. During my hour there, they had to turn away a number of people because they were fully booked for that hour. Also, these are cats, so they may bite or scratch, as cats do (they were well-behaved for my visit, though.) Definitely check out Crooked Tail or another cat cafe closer to you if you're a cat person.

What a WONDERFUL place to relax or play with kitties :) We adopted our little Luna Lovegood from here back in 2019. The adoption process was handled well and the staff was very kind. Worth the visit even if you don’t adopt! There’s also a cute gift shop that has great gifts for cat lovers.

My favorite coffee shop, it’s the spot for the cozy girlies. My partner brought me here for the first time and since then it’s been the spot. I like their lattes and egg omelette.
