Crooked Crab Brewing Company - Brewery in Odenton - 8251 Telegraph Rd Suite D, USA

When we moved to the USA a year ago we spent our first 3 months searching for what could become our new ‘regular’ haunt - somewhere that delivers quality beers with friendly staff where you don’t need to worry too much about what you’re wearing or who you’re with because you’re just welcome… And it took a while UNTIL we came across crooked crab, and even though it’s a bit outside of what you’d call ‘local’ (25 min drive) - we make it every couple of weeks because there’s nowhere quite like it. A combination of super beers, great pizzas and incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. That final point there, the staff, is a bit differential for these guys. Everyone who works here makes you feel welcome and quickly almost like friends - in particular for us Victoria was someone who made us want to come back just for how friendly and conversational she was, and every repeat visit since she goes out of her way to say hello and see how we are. It genuinely makes a massive difference and is the prototype for how tap room staff should be! We also have to call out Ashley/Ashleigh who is also just so welcoming and friendly too. BUT that’s a bit unfair as everyone here is just fab!! Thanks for giving us what we were looking for - somewhere to enjoy a quality beer and feel chilled.

Great place and atmosphere for a beer. Selection is well balanced, and not too overwhelming on the IPAs which is the case a lot of times with breweries. Service is good and the pizzas are absolutely fantastic. I was a fan of nearly every beer I tried but I can see why Pils-Boh is one of the mainstays!

I was here for a work party recently. The brewery is located in a business park like most these days but the space is huge! When you walk in there are two separate rooms to each side. Not sure if they're both usually open or not but if you're looking to host an event there is definitely space! The bartenders are all so nice and if you want a taste they are more than happy to provide! They even offered a taste before I purchased additional take home cans. They have such great beer selections and such cute names for them! However don't let the names fool you bc I tried several and they were all very good! My favorite was the furious George. My second favorite was the brewer Steve which is an IPA (not my favorite at all) but it has more tropical notes.

Our favorite brewery when we go to Annapolis, D.C., Baltimore, Crofton area. Two times each year we get here, & we look forward to our stop at Crooked Crab every time...we never skip this place! Their beer selections always have something for everyone. They have you covered with whatever you drink. Great rotating brews with solid mainstays. AND...get a pizza!!!🍕. 🍺..🍻

Not an IPA fan but they have a few other decent options. They have a kitchen with pretty good pizza and wings. Lots of seating, good parking, friendly staff. Not a bad place to meet up with friends

Crooked Crab's taps brim with a kaleidoscope of liquid gold, brewed with the sweat, tears, and maybe a splash of Chesapeake Bay brine by their passionate crew. Forget your mass-produced swill – these are artisanal ales spun from the finest grains and local magic. I dipped my anchor into a citrusy I Fought the Claw IPA, a juicy explosion of grapefruit and pine that had me bellowing sea shanties with gusto. Then, I dove into a smooth-sailing Sour! Sour Ale, a tart symphony of berries and funk that tickled my taste buds like a mischievous mermaid. And let me tell you, their seasonal brews are worth braving a kraken attack for – their Pumpkin Spice Latte Stout last fall was enough to make Old Man Winter wear a lei. But it's not just the suds that set Crooked Crab apart. Their brick-oven pizzas are legendary, with crusts as thin and crispy as a sun-bleached sail and toppings that sing like a siren's song. The Goodfella, a symphony of pepperoni, sausage, and green olives, is a classic that never disappoints. And if you're feeling adventurous, the Crab Rangoon pizza, a creamy, cheesy ode to Maryland's bounty, will have you dancing a jig.

Came here after hiking in the Patuxent Preserve with my parents. Busy Sunday afternoon but we still managed to find seating. We put in our drink and food order and the staff were helpful right off the bat letting us know the seltzers were alcoholic (our DD ordered one initially) and making some good beer recs. My mom and I each did a flight and pretty much every beer we had was good to great. The Uno Mas and Who's a Good Boy were big winners at our table. I also really liked the OJ Hopped & Chopped and the Pizza Shark. On the topic of pizza, theirs is really good. My dad also enjoyed his crab cake. Cool selection of merch and a good variety of beer to go as well. Kudos to the staff for letting me buy the last 3 Schwarzbiers they had even though it was a full 4-pack, they were as delicious as you said they'd be! Definitely gonna mark this place to come back to!!

Visited on a Tuesday night. The place was packed so i stood at the bar, it was Friends trivia night. I got a tasting flight and the Old Bae pizza. Had no complaints about any of the beer, they were all tasty but i did get a 13oz pour of "A raspberry and lemonade wall into a bar". service was friendly and attentive.
