Croix Grand Hotel - Hotel in Sebring - 6525 US Hwy 27 N, USA

So I have to say I'm disappointed I stayed 2 nights here and I had negative situations both nights/days. I was hoping with the other reviews that this place had a turn around with a new owner but they definitely still have more work to do.. I checked in probably around 7:30/8 pm I had to be up early the next morning so I tucked in pretty early. The next day when I was out of the room house keeping came in, I was only in the room for maybe 8 hours but I get new towels cool... BUT that brings us to my first issue alot of my personal items seemed to have been moved around. Toiletries and my medication organizer that were on the sink counter and my clothes that I had out wernt how I left them.. not that I have OCD but I have a system and that's just not how I leave my stuff. Sure, it could have been moved for cleaning but like I said I'd only been in the room for a few hours. The next morning 4:50am the phone starts ringing it takes me a moment to figure out where the phone is but I pick it up noone on the other end .. I roll over try to get back to sleep. 4:56am someone is knocking at my door. I peak out the little door hole thing it's a lady with a name tag.. I pull the curtain next to the door to look out it is the lady from the front desk ... you'll never guess what I'm told... "Your friend said you needed a wake up call for work." I'm not sure what the procedure is for wake up calls but someone who's not in the room or on the reservation surely shouldn't be able to order a wake up call for my room right? I shake my head no though the window it's not even 5am my brain isn't even awake enough to make words. "OH sorry they said your room number" and she walks away.. Great it's 5am and I'm awake I crawl back in to the bed begging the sleep demons to let me fall asleep for the hour and a half before my alarm goes off. 10 minutes later I hear knocking on the door next to mine "your friend said you need a wake up call for work" of course they got the room number wrong but still what's the policy for wake up calls? The sleep demons didn't bless me with sleep after that. Since I was up I turn on the TV. Surprise surprise only 8 actually working channels (19 if you count repeats) and most of them are infomercials and the shopping channel. I end up with the weather channel atleast they do nature segments in between the weather report. Also I hope you don't want juice for breakfast cause that doesn't work Coffee was mid Ended up with dry cereal because the waffle mix wasn't thick enough to set when in the waffle iron... Anyway the room was nice it was clean the bed was comfy. Pool area looked good and kept up. You can tell there still in the prosses of updating and renovating the hotel. Wish I had a better review but it was rough.

I wish I could give this place a negative I would. My stay had possibly of human trafficking activity as my room key was programmed so that it opened several other rooms. The desk staff was unable correct the issue. I had to push my bed again the door for the night!!!

The room was horrible. Pulled the sheets back on the bed and covered with BUGS! smelled of mold and ceiling texture was falling off because of water damage. Told the front desk and left immediately. Booked through Expedia and was not given my refund. Run from this place!!!!!!

Nice comfortable rooms and clean. My wife check in last night after mid night and she was happy the front desk was very helpful with everything and quick she was a sweet heart and funny my wife say we need more people like her in this world and that she can tell she love what she’s doing and when staff is happy is because management is doing great 🥰

Positive: Right beside highway Negative: "/"Renovation/" very substandard. Toilet ran constantly: had to remove lid and shut off by hand. VERY basic TV. Card key didn't light up so we thought it didn't work. Ugly vinyl floor. Bed frame made a loud noise when one would lie down. Cheap breakfast." Negative: ""

Positive: Very clean rooms, quite area, very helpful staff. Negative: Deposit for room being extra, dont care for the pillows, but i dont have mine.

Wow . What a great place to stay . We had a great time and in the area lot of things to do. if we are ever back this way you can bet we will be back to stay here!

Felt like home very quiet clean lots of room plus super large pool smiling faces and very dependable ppl
