Crest Motel - Motel in Bartlett - 345 E Lake St, USA

I been here 2 hours and I kill 2 roaches with lights on ,I know there will be more at night, descent price do and the Guy in the front desk very kind ,I was thinking about checking out because of the roaches but too tired to load my luggage again and find an other Motel,this is the problem about motels here in Illinois mostly are owned by Indian people ( Hindu) $85.00 at night is not cheap but the problem with this owners is that they make money and don't invest it back in their motels, most motels I been every room needs something, like ,paint, newer towels, carpet, specially new beds 🛌, I'm working around here so I need a motel for a week ,I was in an other motel last night, I will leave a review on that one too ,I didn't shower after working all day 12 hours because the bathtub was so dirty that I decided not to shower because my shower shoes where at my truck, I can't remember that motel, but yes there is roaches at Crest Motel .Yes by the way the motel from last night was own by Indian people I can bet $1000.00 dollars to one of this motel owners will not spend a night in their own motel because they know they in bad shape. if I have to kill one more roaches I will ask for a refund, I don't want to take roaches back home. 😤

Bed bugs. Be extremely careful about staying here. I packed up and left.

Overall, my experience at Crest Motel was positive, and I would definitely consider staying there again in the future. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option in Bartlett, I highly recommend giving this motel a try. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a desk, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. The microwave provided in the unit was also useful for heating up snacks and drinks. The motel's proximity to Chicago O'Hare International Airport is a definite plus as I was flying out the next day.

Worst place I've ever stayed in my life, heater didn't work, I asked to change the room, and then I found out that there was no water to take a shower. I stayed because I had worked 16 hours a day and was in no mood to look for another motel, in the snow and the low temperature.

Checked into this motel without doing the research I should have. Guy at the front desk was rude over the phone when I called to inquire about a reservation. He hung up on me, twice, without even answering my questions. Upon checking in, he told me he had to keep my ID until I returned the key and would also return $5 for the key fee. He also said that he did not open until 7am and I told him I had to leave before then to get to work and how could I get my ID back. He was very vague and did not explain very well about how we could go about this. Upon entering the room, it was so outdated and hot in the room and when I called to ask about the AC he very rudely told me there was no AC and to open a window. None of the windows opened besides the teeny tiny one in the bathroom that barely let in enough air and I could not sleep the entire night. When I tried to get my ID back in the morning and return the room key, there was no answer when I called and I knocked on both front and back doors and nothing. Good thing there wasn't an emergency. Finally I got a call from the front desk guy who was all pissy and asking who was knocking on his door and I told him I need my ID back so I can get to work on time and he was just nasty and unprofessional. I've never owned or run a motel but my guess is you should be prepared to deal with guests 24 hours of the day. I've also never heard of keeping someone's ID until they returned the key. My advice is, don't go here and use your money you will be wasting on this place for somewhere much nicer and friendlier.

Overall I had a great stay. I hadn't heard of this place before, but it ended up being great for the price. I guess these other reviewers were expecting a stay at the Marriott, but this is a really great hidden gem for the price. From what I saw, I had access to the front desk 24 hours a day, at least someone was always there when I needed them. They offered a nice grab and go breakfast with coffee. It's a nicely central location, with close access to Woodfield mall, Grand Victoria Casino, and Naperville also isn't terribly far either. A great, affordable option that I definitely would stay at again.

I came to stay at the motel because it was my niece's graduation in town. They were able to accomodate me very fast and made me feel comfortable. There were fresh towels and toiletries in the bathroom and also a maid on hand in case I needed anything else. In addition, I was able to receive breakfast and a hot coffee in the morning, which was nice because I don't usually see that at motels. All in all, I was happy that I stayed here because it was extremely affordable, comfortable and accommodating to my needs. I will stay here next time I come!

Our production company needed a motel room to shoot our creative film, and Crest Motel blew our expectations away! They were unbelievably nice and accommodating, and the rooms were great. We had two rooms for two nights for the shoot, and they were clean, spacious, and very well-kept. Rich is the building manager, and he was extremely helpful for our crew. Overall it was a wonderful experience, we will be back! I would definitely stay here on my own too, very impressed!
