Crescent Beach Boardwalk - Park in Algoma - 1025 Lake St, USA

We went over there from Menominee Michigan on Thursday July 13, 2023 . It have been a awesome beach but there were a lot of dead fish laying on the beach and four dead Geese . It would have been better if they would keep the beach cleaner. We did take some pictures. But the light house and other stuff was cool.

Wonderfull large 1/2 mile long beach in the center of town. Very wide as well with an easy slope to the water. Easy ample parking to access it. There is volleyball nets as well as picnic tables and a park nearby. Food, lodging, marina and camping within walking distance.

My 'heaven on earth'. I love this place! Great for swimming and rock hunting. There are two gas stations nearby and the information building that stays open ....these are needed for bathroom breaks and food :) heads up...depending where you are coming from (we travel just over an hour) but Algoma is almost consistently 10-20 degrees colder :) the boardwalk is also nice for walks.

What a lovely beach area! Clean, charming boardwalk, benches,lots of stones, sand and water. I'll be back!

I just adore this location. It calms my soul to have access to this big beautiful body of water. Rain or shine, sunrise or daytime, I'm never disappointed.

Great accessible beach especially with kids. It is HUGe with so much room to spread out. This is a great secret of Door County. You can be in sight line of your vehicle -which as a mom who has to make multiple trips - I k ow you know. There is a beach changing room and portapots on the north side of the beach. If you need to walk a bit, a wagon, stroller or wheelchair can get go the length. If your just looking for a walk along the beach without being covered in sand the boardwalk is perfect. Amazing sand volleyball courts keep the whole family engaged.

This is one of the few beaches left since the water level of Lake Michigan rose a few years ago. Nice scenic overlook views of Lake Michigan traveling on Highway 42 from the south into Algoma. Lots of lovely smooth beach stones and an occasional beach glass treasure awaits you! Beautiful little lighthouse, sea gulls and clean white sand makes for great family fun and photos. In August occasionally when the wind is from the East the warm surface water makes for warmer swimming conditions. A few boutiques, consignment and antique shops are open on Sunday, all are open on Saturday. Oh, and don't forget wine tasting and live music Saturday and Sunday afternoons at Von Stiehl Winery and for the guys, check out Ahanapee Brewery, a few blocks away. Both have great views of the water.

Enjoyed walking along the beach, we were there looking for rocks and found quite a few nice ones
