Positive: It was inexpensive and convenient. Negative: Staff was not very concerned with customer service and seemed to have an attitude. Hotel was not manned by staff, but directed us to the corner store to find someone designted for service.
Clean, good price, relaxed. Expect to visit to sleep and shower. Room has mini fridge and microwave. Gas station nextdoor if you need to fill up.
I had not heard many good things about this motel from locals, and that's unfortunate because it really is a nice place. All of the rooms have recently been remodeled and updated. My room even had a newer bed. Everything was clean. Service was excellent. The motel isn't conveniently located near the bigger towns, but it's quiet with a grocery store, coffee house, and really good pizza place within a 5 minute drive. It sits next to a gas station with a mini mart and has lots of parking. It's also the least expensive lodging in the county I think. More advertising should be done to change its local reputation. Very charming, peaceful place to get away.
Well I never been to this place so it seems ok
2 stars because the room was clean. I read the reviews before booking and everything negative was true. It was a last minute decision and with the festival going on in Kelseyville there was nothing else available. Check in and and check out are a giant pain! I’m not even sure if anyone actually works there. Anything we needed was dealt with by the gas station next door. Excellent place to get “Dahmered” if that’s what you’re looking for. Do not recommend.
This is a typical motor lodge that was common in the 40's and 50's. It is out side of any town on the roadside adjacent to a gas station. One checks in at the gas station, the person in charge of the motel then goes back to the motel office where they process the room paperwork. There is a person in the office during the night shift and there is a key drop outside the office. There are only a small number of rooms and when I was there, I don't think there was anyone else. The room is clean and relatively modern. There are hardwood floors, a flat screen TV, mini fridge and microwave. The TV has a Roku unit connected to it. There are not a lot of outlets. Only one by the bed, one by the sink and one in use for the fridge and microwave. The A/C is older unit operated by a analog thermostat. Wi-fi is standard speed found in many motels. The only complaint I had was the over firmness of the bed. Other than that, it was a standard budget motel common throughout the region. It was safe, no homeless people around, no long term residents either, that I saw. Not a lot of sub-$100 options in Clearlake region for those who have a stingy business budget as I did. This fit my needs.
Was just visiting a friend from out of town, stayed a few hours. I didn't meet any of the staff, but according to friend, she was very nice, n even worked with him on the deposit.. The room was on the back side, (which i never knew was there!). Lovely!! Mountainside view. Nice, grassy area with lazing swings for anyone to just relax. Bbq. Whatever! All in all... If i ever need a room in that area, I'd definitely choose this motel.
My stay there was a quiet , and uninterrupted restful experience . Service was friendly and a convenient store is a walk away .
Perfect winter hike. Drive up is adventure too - awesome views love did Wright Peak, recommend!! Its work. There's also opportunity to complete Howard & Buckingham peaks too. Look up Mt. Konocti on Alltrails. Cabin & airplane crash are on the Wright
Good old fashioned bar with lots of locals and a welcoming atmosphere. And, they are dog friendly!! The brick exterior and wood interior gives this place an old west nostalgic feel and there is a tavern pool table as well as a jukebox. I've been he
We decided to spend Memorial Day Weekend in Clear Lake California. It was a Friday evening We arrived here at 6:30PM it was very quiet in the restaurant (didn't see anyone in this area) but we heard a lot of music and singing in the bar. Looked like
