Creekside Bar-be-que - Barbecue restaurant in Anderson - 1115 Salem Church Rd, USA

This place was highly recommended while I'm in town for work in Anderson. This was a total let down. I ordered a BBQ sandwich plate with Mac and cheese, baked beans, and Cole slaw. I sent the Cole slaw back because it was too sweet for my liking. I got fried okra. All the food was just a disappointment. Burnt okra, extremely dry and chewy BBQ. Then I ordered the banana pudding. It was disgusting! No other words to describe it. It was prepared to order crunchy cookies, banana slices mixed in the gray color instant pudding.the pudding wasn't fully mixed it had dry powder pieces. To my dismay I was charged 3.25 percent to swipe my debit card. I didn't ask for a manager. I just felt like it would fluster the server. They were kind. But never once asked how the food was. The host did ask , I was honest . They simply apologized and went back to work. I was hoping a manager would do table touches but no. 23 dollars down the drain .

The restaurant is very dark. The table was sticky and the walls dirty. The host was very effective and polite. The value for the food is very poor compared to surrounding restaurants and the meat was not cooked well. It was very chewy and very fatty. If the sauce is homemade it is done very well and the tea was good as well. I got 3 ribs for $18.00 total with tea and fries compared to surrounding restaurants 18-20 dollars is a full rack.

The worst meal ever!! Everything was cold, had to send back the pork sandwich and then it still wasn’t warm enough. The wings were terrible, cold and way overcooked and swimming in a cold sauce. Never coming back to this restaurant. The corn on the cob wasn’t even cooked enough. Totally would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Imagine, you deliver a grocery order for a Company, and they don’t tip anything. Just insane you expect your own servers to depend on tips yet when you’re asked to tip to pay your grocery shopper for shopping and delivering your order thru the drive thru window, you tip nothing. Insane. Do better owners!

Staff was friendly, Food was good, portion size was ok. Nice place. Some lady in the back was yelling at someone which ruined the quiet relaxing vibe.

I always love coming here, even when I was just 12 years old. The food is good. We went around 2 o'clock maybe and got seated straight away. The waitresses are always nice to my grandpa and I. Can't wait to see you guys again soon!

We ate a Creekside this past Sunday 8-10 and we didn’t know if we were in a bar or not. The waitresses were wearing shorts that were hardly visible due to t shirts which was also short. I don’t think this is proper attire to be serving food. Then the icing was put on the cake when I saw the latest inspection report. They got a C stating there was signs of roaches and rat feces. Meat wasn’t properly stored at correct temperatures. The report also mentioned the employees restroom was covered in feces. So needless to say we won’t be back.

Have eaten at Creekside numerous times and obviously never had an issue since we keep going back. But today was exceptional. I also work at a restaurant and would never go out on mother's day but we had family things come up so I took my kids out. Lunch was amazing. The brisket I had today was better than any other time I've ever had brisket there or anywhere else. Service was great and KC took amazing care of us. With it being one of the busiest days of the year for restaurants everywhere, I commend every single person of staff today. Such a great experience. Many thanks to every single employee.
