Crazy Tuna Bar & Grille - Seafood restaurant in Essex - 203 Nanticoke Rd, USA

Found this place randomly one day and decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. Good food and drinks, live music, good people. What more can you ask for. I tried the orange crush and run punch, each were delicious. The food was very tasty as well. I had Honey old bay wings and Rock Fish Bites. It came out hot and fresh. If you have a boat you can pull right up to the dock and grab some food and drinks. Loved the beach vibes, I will definitely be coming back.

We stopped in for a light dinner & a few drinks. I got the Mahi Fish Tacos & my wife got the Crab Melt. Our waitress Carmyn was very friendly & attentive. There was a miscue on the Crab melt which was quickly rectified by the manager. Overall great experience.

Bland and Basic We did visit on a Saturday, it was crazy busy. There was a $5 cover charge if you sat outside. There were several open tables outside but we were told that they were reserved. We were seated inside..... pointless to be near the water and have to eat inside which was the purpose of our visit. Server, Madysen was friendly and helpful. My husband had a beer and I had a Creamsicle crush.... meh 😕. We ordered rockfish bites, crab pretzel, wings, and crab egg rolls. Crab rolls was the only thing that was good but it was small 2 little egg rolls. My daughter did not enjoy her crab pretzel 🥨. It had very little crab, mostly cheese. Rock fish bites and wings needed some seasoning. I had high expectations but this place really fell short. I would rather go to Hard Yacht or Tiki Lee's. We won't be back! Oh and I forgot to mention that we attempted to visit last year but it was no where to park. Driving around in the parking lot we saw 2 people getting it on in the front seat of a van.

Great time for the Middle River Holiday Boat Parade ! Got here early and found plenty of bar seating - if you don't know this event packs them in and all of the restaurants on the parade route get packed. Well poured drinks and good food. Carly our bartender was fun. The ENTIRE staff was dressed up in holiday garb and the place looked great. Extremely festive. We would go back!

The Crazy Tuna is a wonderful little seafood shack on the water. They have colorful outdoor seating and covered pavilion with a tiki bar feel. They also have a small stage for fun live music on the weekends. The food is very good, especially the Rockfish bites and assorted tacos. The shrimp salad sandwich is very good as well. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Seafood amazing food, customer service suck especially at the bar, having to get her attention by call her six times, where she can sample say I will be right with you mam, sir whatever not total unrecognizable but music 🎶 not bad ❤️💕💯 also let people know if they want their Tuna tacos well done or uncooked 🤭

First time visiting here. Parking, tho plentiful, was a little precarious as it seems there are a couple of different areas in which to park. With the exception of the cream of crab soup (a little too salty), the food was very good and the portions were very generous! Prices are quite reasonable altho several menu items are "market price" (we stayed away from them). As usual, we filled up on the calamari appetizer and I could only taste the seafood pasta but my dining companion managed to eat half her seafood club sandwich. Both were delicious as is the Smith Island chocolate cake we brought home. Definitely will be visiting here again!! 😋

The place is fun! The food was good: Crab Cakes Bacon Wrapped Scallops Service was great! Our waitress was so bubbly and fun. Came by to check on us often.
