*TOURISTS TRAP Started at Coconuts had to seek help, serve, and clear myself (with tip, because I thought it was a restaurant). Although food was worth the work...Next went to attraction (employees simply without greeting, or explaining their procedures) turned and walked off. Finally, set appointment for said attraction, then waited in second line (because different locations, can set different attractions) waited in line so long, almost missed out on what had just been scheduled.... I know confusing right. Had done recon the night before to ensure everything was up and operational. Rope course/ zip line were not running, for whatever reason. Which staffing was given as excuse. Yet, as i watched 4 at bar/restaurant, 2 at slow concessions, 4 at 1st counter, 2 at 2nd counter, 2 attractions operators, and a one or two somewhat no charged type people stood. As we needed assistance many, many, many times over. Very dissatisfied in ability to encourage pockets, and repeat customers. However light at the end of tunel would be their sister store, Georgetown is definitely worth a repeat. Just a frustration.
It’s a great family place to take the kids or a birthday party. Couple down falls for me the prize room is not good at all not very much to pick from for the kids. And the cars were down so the kids couldn’t drive. But the arcade is good, Laser tag kids loved ! And bowling is a long wait unless you reserve in advance. But overall kids loved it.
Arcade: 1 of 5 stars Justification: largely a redemption arcade, very few games that are traditional arcade games. That's fine, until you zone in on the pricing on the machines added to ticket to prize value is insanely distorted compared to similar venues throughout the United States. Example, they have a half moon Elaut Wizard of Oz running with the newer Emerald City cards but all the old version badging. Meaning, you have no idea what cards to collect, what their values are in a set of individually. The redemption center staff also has no idea. It has the standard low level bonuses, ranging from 12:1 to 15:1 at 5 swipes. Fine, normal and expected pricing at the lowest level but not unusual. The absolute rage is that a single swipe is effectively $3.30. Even at the 100% prebuy bonus, that's $1.65 per swipe, which is the absolute most expensive of any place I've seen for an Elaut pusher. The floor space for the arcade was actually a very small percent of the whole, I'd suggest if this is a primary reason for your visit, you try someplace else. Overall price to value: 2 of 5 Justification: you can use the website to prebuy arcade cards at 100% bonus. Arcade cards can be used to fund mini golf (110 tokens per player, so about $11 without prebuy discount, not sure if bonus tokens are permitted to be used for attractions or restricted only to arcade use) The food and bar pricing seemed reasonable for an entertainment complex like this. Unsure if quality, but the overall appearance was good. GoKarts were fairly standard low speed kid level, but I didn't see the adult karts running to judge them. They weren't really overpriced. Bowling pricing was consistent with other venues such as this the lanes seemed clean and well kept. Faculty was clean. Machines were mostly in good working order, a few were shut down, one was not dispensing tickets properly (right most water gun fun, winning from that station raise a visit to the redemption room to gain a ticket, ripe for abuse, definitely close the position or fix the dispenser). Once we had quickly burned through $120 in tokens (technically $240 in virtual, card based tokens that is), we were left feeling unimpressed and unfulfilled. Frankly, cheated. The redemption center's best prizes were basically unachievable at 100,000 tickets or more. They included an Xbox OneX, a Nintendo switch, and maybe a PS5. There was also a selection of jerseys for local sports teams at about 40,000. The rest of the redemption center was primarily what you would see at any entertainment complex such as this. I was warned by locals who had previously been to crazy pinz that the pricing was out of touch and that the center was nicely appointed but the pricing was punitive. I would have been better off at one of the local arcades if I was interested in the arcade experience; which was my primary reason for the visit (revised: went to a mini golf center on Speedway after this experience, spent 1/3 the money and had 5x the fun). I have no qualms with the staff they were all friendly and mostly knowledgeable about the facility. They were able to guide me in the right direction they asked questions and seemed genuinely interested in my satisfaction as a customer. Our visit occurred on a Thursday afternoon during the beginning of the school year for the locals so the facility was lightly attended. Overall recommendation: visit once and judge for yourself. We will not return. The facility is probably excellent for a kid's party, but not of a decent value otherwise. The arcade was just bad.
We visited so that our daughter could enjoy the arcade and learn to bowl. The staff was courteous, the place was clean and it was fun.
Had a great time but the facility is not being disinfected properly what’s so ever. We had and gender reveal there and had several people there from different house holds. Now 4 different households all are extremely ill. ALL testing positive for influenza now having to miss work and school… we will never be returning
Very crowded, loud, pricey, but fun. There is so much to do, you definitely want to make a day of it. The arcade games are pretty expensive so be prepared to spend a lot if you are wanting to do that . The go cart track was smaller than expected, but very fun. There is a game within the racing which provides an extra challenge (and speed boosts 😁). The food was expensive, but tasted good and was in big enough portions to share. The bowling alley left something to be desired. It was very cramped. The ball return malfunctioned several times during our allotted lane rental and we lost a lot of time having to get assistance. Luckily, management was awesome and understanding and gave us 30 minutes to make up for it. Overall, a fun but expensive time for families.
The best place we visited in Fort Wayne, would love to see this establishment come to Greenwood Indiana!!!!!! We absolutely had tons of fun!! And the prizes are worth playing for!! Lots of updated Arcade Games and The mini golf was 18 holes of absolute fun we loved it!!!!!!! Please consider bringing this establishment to Greenwood!!!
It was my son's 6th birthday party. I paid 30 days in advance. I was told to arrive 15 mins early to the party because your time starts and you don't get any time back. Upon arrival there was a line out the door I was told by crazy pinz staff I had to wait in line for a birthday party I paid for. The bartenders are very racist. I complimented her making my drink and she rolled her eyes and put over the amount of liquor she was supposed to add. When I went to order my pizzas I didn't get what I ordered. I bought ice cream and had to fight to get my ice cream out the freezer. This business is racist and no hospitality. They charge all this money and it isn't what it should be❗❗❗❗
