Crazy Bowls and Wraps - Health food restaurant in St Charles - 1980 1st Capitol Dr, USA

I went through the drive-thru on January 19, and although the ladies who took my order were sweet and the wait time was quick, my order was not entirely correct. I ordered a Thai wrap for my husband, queso, and a kids meal. However, I was given pico de gallo instead of queso (I was not charged for the queso), and my husband's wrap had hardly any chicken in it. For an item with protein, we expected more than just three pieces of chicken. Although I have been a loyal customer of CBW for years, I have noticed that the food quality has become hit or miss lately, specifically with the wraps. This is why I did not order anything for myself and only got it for my family. The food experience has become subpar. It also sounds like the speaker for the drive thru is broken, on the customers end at least. It was hard to hear and muffled at times.

Edit 4.4.2022 Needed something healthy fast, and chose to try crazy bowls again. I don't know why I even tried. Once again they forgot the sauce for the bowl, which luckily I know to check in the parking lot. Then I get home, and oh boy. My wrap is completely drenched in sauce, the soggy wrap now impossible to pick up without the contents spilling out. Tastes really off. Wife and my salmon is rubber. My daughters carrots look like they have been sitting out for 2 days. But hey at least my daughters 6 tiny pieces of chicken were cooked ok. Don't waste your time going here in the evening. --------- We've been going to this location since they opened, but we have noticed a drop in consistency over the last year. Multiple times have I went through drive-through, only to get home and find my order either missing their sauces, or have specific components missing(cauliflower rice a big culprit.) The people working have always fixed or replaced but at this point it's become a broken record and forced me to constantly check my meal in the parking lot before i leave. Today i only received 1 sauce for the 3 bowls i had ordered, as well as the drink having no syrup in it. I have tried to be very understanding at restaurants due to Covid, but this feels like an issue beyond that at this point. Also attaching a shot of the kid's broccoli bowl I ordered today with the 1.5 pieces of broccoli included....

I do not usually leave a review on line but I cannot say enough wonderful things about this Lindenwood location. The minute you walk in you are greeted by friendly, polite workers that quickly care about you and your order. The food is nutritious, hot and very well prepared even when you have special requests. If you want to eat out and feel like family go to this restaurant! 5 stars is not enough!!

Spent $23 on a single burrito to be delivered via Door Dash while I’m sick for it to arrive with nothing correct. I feel like the only time things are ever made correctly with this place is when I physically go in myself, check the order prior to leaving and ask them to make corrections. I paid $2 extra for protein that I did not receive, chips I didn’t get and again, if I’m paying $23 for a single burrito and ask for some sauces of sauces on the side…it’s kind of just a courtesy that they’re included in my bag for paying that much for a single item. It’s all just kind of slopped together and disappointing.

I ordered off DoorDash today. I’m pregnant and now terrified to eat my food. I am also going to call this location and tell them to check all of their food. This is completely unacceptable. I’m also devastated because I really wanted my power bowl and fruit bowl and now I’m scared of eating spoiled food.

It's nice to have a dining option like this in St. Charles. Everything on the menu is highly customizable, meaning no matter what your diet may be, you can find something here that will jibe with it. The prices are also pretty good, and you get a good amount of good, healthy food.

Literally can't go anywhere anymore. How hard is it to put chips in a bag? Should be able to trust that your order is correct before you drive all the way back to your house. Quality control is not the customer's job.

Please put more training into teaching active listening and reflecting back what has been said, to ensure accuracy. Customer said no protein, then got asked what protein. Customer said 5 piece lobster Rangoon, then got asked 3 or 5 piece. Customer said I only want 1 jalapeño cilantro sauce and one red sauce, because I always get too many... But instead customer received 6 sauces. And when addressed with employees, they said it was a communication error and they thought customer meant extra of each. But had they actively listened they would have heard they always give too many sauces. Had they reflected back that they thought the request was for extra, customer would have corrected the employees' misunderstanding. And if theres a doubt... Why not just have a 2nd person verify (since she's there talking to the 2nd person already). Trust me when I tell you, your business will improve by focusing more on these skills... And your workers benefit in their lives outside of work as well.
