Great find. Very helpful staff. Much larger space than expected. Important moment in history...first use of anesthesia for surgery. Includes an audio tour. Right off the Jefferson downtown, so plenty of coffee shops and eateries nearby.

Very impressive. Amazed at the information that was available. Absolutely the best local museum I have ever visited.

If you are an anesthesiologist, historian of medicine, or proud Georgian, it's really a worthwhile experience. The scavenger hunt and probably just the wonder of anesthesia kept my children very engaged. Honestly, it's the first museum everyone in my family has simultaneously enjoyed!

Small but mighty! Interesting exhibits. Enjoyed learning about the history of ether and its early uses in medicine. Took about 45-60 minutes to see the video and walk through reading all the notes.

Such a great value for the few dollars of admission. There is absolutely a treasure trove of educational information packed into this small space. We spent 2 hours looking, reading, comparing artifacts and instruments of dentistry as well as foods displayed in the general store...and I still didnt read it all! Electronic audio tour guides are available at the admission desk and will explain the various exhibits if you aren't the type that likes to read. I'd recommend this museum for anyone who loves history, especially a good American success story of humble beginnings!

I enjoyed visiting the museum and learning more about the local history. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There were much more artifacts to see than expected. Definitely a place to stop by and see if ever visiting. Admission cost is low and worth every cent.

Very unique and historically significant museum! The things you learn visiting small town America - loved Jefferson, Georgia and Crawford W. Long Museum. I would highly recommend visitors pay the small admission fee to learn alot about the early history of anesthesia in America - here is where Dr. Long started 'it all'!

Great museum for Crawford W. Long. So many cool pieces of history at this museum. Reasonably priced and very informative about the creation of ether and anesthesia. If you can, make sure to stop in and visit. Jefferson is a great little town with loads of history.
