I had never been here before and had the opportunity today. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted. I ordered take out and was asking a lot of questions about the food. The lady behind the register never got irritated or frustrated. There was a wait, if you wanted to dine in due to limited tables and space. They make the food ti order so I had about a 15 min wait which was not a problem. There is not a waiting area, so it was cramped with the 3 others who were waiting for tables and myself. All in all I would recommend this place. Everyone was nice and the food was very good. I ordered the Devine street sandwich and the lusty monk potato salad.
Another great visit for lunch. You must try this place for lunch.
This place has the most delicious food! The Carlisle is well worth the ride from Lexington! Tomato Dill Soup was spot on!! My mom amd sister experienced it for the first time this weekend and are now raving fans as well!!
Wow! So popular, busy, and now I know why. I got the lunch special to go with a blonde brownie and 2 drinks. The panini was delish, the soup was a fresh tomato, and the pasta side was tasty enough to be an entrepreneur. Will dine here again, but don't tell the locals. Parking is easy but busy.
My husband and I are Vegan. The first time we went we asked if they could make the Longleaf vegan. The chef came out to ask if there was anything else they could add to make the sandwich better. We loved the additions she recommended. Everyone there were so gracious and went overboard to make us a wonderful meal. We go back every time we are in town.
Crave is absolutely AMAZING. I cannot recommend them enough. Great food and friendly staff! You can tell there is detail in every single ingredient to make amazing flavor. You cannot go wrong here! Will continue to be a go-to place for me.
The tomatoes pie panini was very cheesy. The tomatoes didn't have much flavor but it's early in the season for really flavorful local tomatoes. The bread used for the sandwich was tasty and held up well with the tomatoes and melted cheese. I'll be back to try the curry chicken salad next.
Always fresh and delicious! Expect a wait during peak times but they move quickly and it’s worth it!
