Crash Champions Collision Repair Caldwell - Auto body shop in Caldwell - 3821 Cleveland Blvd, USA

Hit a deer with my 2018 Highlander. Back May 13th. Had our insurance company tow my car to Crash Champions a "preferred" company. Initially everything went well. Over $7500 in repairs to include new bumper, hood, grill, radiator, fan, sensors, headlight housing etc. Got my car back after 3 weeks. Wrote on the hood that I wanted my headlight bulbs back, since they were new. I did not get them back. The first time I was told my car was ready.. I did the walk through and they missed a small section of paint on the bumper and the bumper appeared loose, was told it was fine. Picked it up Friday, was going to bring it back Monday for redo of paint on the bumper, and something else that they missed. Made it to Boise before my car was overheating and was getting high temp warnings. Was fine when driving, but stopped/slow traffic wasn't good. Made it back to Nampa when I realized the bumper was coming off, pushed it back into place. Got back home, and had it towed back to them. About 2 weeks later, was told it was ready again... went to pick it up and the entire front grill was scratched up from what appeared to be a worker's belt rubbing. Left it there for them to fix again. Another week down, had them check the clips on the bumper, was told everything was fine. Picked it up, drove to Boise, car was still overheating... slower this time, but went above halfway point after sitting 15 minutes. Also, the hood seemed to be lifting. Called them again, pissed. I told them they were going to give me a rental car, because I can't keep driving a long bed truck around Boise. They then had a tow company pick up the car Saturday to have it taken to anywhere we wanted. Had it taken to the Toyota dealership to be reviewed by all the techs, on Monday. Turns out, they never plugged the FAN INTO THE RADIATOR!!! Plus the hood wasn't at the correct angle or tightened all the way. Bumper was still missing some clips. Car was ready by that late morning, but had to wait another day and half for insurance to figure out who was paying. The shop was decent at attempting to resolve the situation... but failed to actually follow through and ensure the job was done correctly the first time, which they had 3 tries to actually get it right! Took over 2 months to finally get my car back. They did finally order me new headlight bulbs to replace the ones we never got back. (I spent $100 on 40,000 lumen bulbs). An absolute nightmare and Sh**show for no reason, with no regard to safety of the client or others on the road.... who doesn't fully secure a bumper that was just replaced?!?! Do not recommend!! Amazing! Best car service I've ever had they were fast and thorough they were on track with the estimated date they gave me they updated me every step of the way even told me they would let me know if any changes happened that would make our date push back they were great! They cleaned my car washed it cleaned the inside too smells new again haha they did an amazing job here and the staff was superb! Nice friendly answered any questions and they explained everything so well!

The fact that this ship has ANY business at all is completely amazing. I took my Jeep there because they somehow managed to be approved to be on my insurance company’s trusted list of body shops. We took the vehicle in and dropped it off to begin the repairs. The next day, we received a call from them stating that didn’t want to work on our vehicle because they “didn’t feel that they would be able to repair it to our satisfaction”. This was a simple bumper replacement, with very minor damage to the hood. We had to pick our vehicle up and reschedule it to be repaired at another local shop. I wouldn’t trust this shop to repair a shopping cart, much less my own vehicle, especially since they lack any shred of confidence in their own work. Extremely unprofessional staff, and a very poor business ethic. If there were a way to leave zero stars for these idiots, even that would be too many.

If Zero stars was an option I would have selected it. My truck was hammered by hail in Oklahoma where I lived a month ago. I relocated here and was told by my insurance Crash Champions was a trusted and high quality company. I made an appointment to receive an estimate, 3 weeks later = (today) I arrive on time, anxious to begin the process of getting my truck repaired. The guy that greeted me did not introduce himself, did not shake my hand but simply said (you have a truck that you think needs repair?) So we walked out to the parking lot then he asked me (show me the damage) i replied (well it’s covered in hail damage) he then made it clear he wasn’t going to look at my truck. He said it was too dirty to inspect and that I would need to reschedule. I told him that had I been told that I needed to wash all the dust off of my vehicle I would have been happy to do it. He replied that he figured it was just common knowledge! I replied that I just assumed he would do his job and inspect it so looks like we both assumed wrong. I told him I will find someone else that has the time to look at the vehicle since he made it clear my 2018 F-450 was below him to inspect. I didn’t catch the individuals name but if he is a reflection of how this company operates stay away. He was a complete idiot and extremely rude Below are pictures of my truck to show how DIRTY it was.

Bottom tier company. Delayed repairing vehicle multiple times even though we discussed that we would be traveling out of town with them, installed a damaged product on vehicle as well (exhaust). They then threatened to charge us for the rental car that we currently had to extend because they didn't finish their work while we were out of country. I'd go anywhere else. Should mention, when we first went to pick up vehicle they didn't complete repairs and they didn't check to see if indicators from sensors in vehicle were actually reset/working.

This place is Awesome and the people is Great. My truck looks brand new.

They fix my car before when I was rear-ended so I figured they would take good care of me since I was a returning customer. We hit an elk on the way back in North Dakota they have had my vehicle for a month I've not been receiving any updates I wouldn't recommend anyone bring their vehicle here unless you do not need a rental and you are not in a rush to get your vehicle fixed. The receptionist was very rude she gave me a wrong email I tried to correct her her response was " whatever " that is not how you treat people I am paying a deductible it's not like they're doing this for free. Spoke to the manager promise things would be different moving forward same situation did not get resolution did not get updates still do not have my vehicle very frustrating please take your vehicle somewhere else

They got my truck in quickly, finished ahead of schedule. Lifetime warranty (that gives me so much confidence in their customer service). It looked better than new when I got it back.
