We weren’t sure what to think when our Pediatrician recommended a DOC Band for our 4 month old son. We got varying opinions from other Doctors, but decided to go with the DOC band. In 6 short weeks out son’s skull shape and symmetry changed significantly, when viewed in the before and after photos. He had a little discomfort but after a few days he was fine. Our Insurance paid for the Band with a small initial co-pay. The staff and therapists are excellent and provided a very caring and welcome environment. Every child is different, but a month or so of discomfort is well worth it for potential issues when they are older. Highly recommend!!

We were initially worried when our doctor recommended taking our baby to this clinic, but our experience was wonderful! The staff provided a thorough evaluation and explained everything in detail, putting our minds at ease. A special shout-out to Alison, who was amazing with our baby and extremely knowledgeable. We couldn't be happier with the care we received!

Could not recommend Alison and the team at Cranial Tech in Scarsdale enough. Alison was incredible. So thorough, not pushy, kind, responsive, and everything we needed to go through this process as first time parents. Helmet really worked for our son. 6-stars!

PLEASE educate yourself - don’t take other people’s word for it. Take your child to a neurosurgeon to get a second opinion. I’m SO grateful that I read comments here. I was very against the helmet and I took my child to a neurosurgeon at Long Island Neurosurgical Associates PC and Dr.Rogers confirmed that my baby is fine. She has brachycephaly BUT he said to increase tummy time , keep her head away from flat side and everything will be fine. I also use the “tortle “ it’s a head cap to help my baby. STUDIES show that the helmet doesn’t do much . Again- please please consult a neurosurgeon before you decide to put this helmet on your child.

I can not express how amazing the staff is. They are absolutely incredible with the babies and parents as well. They are very informative and so kind. They definitely make a new helmet experience easier. The office is always very clean and very spacious and updated. I recommend anyone who needs a helmet for their baby should definitely go here!

The office is fine and individuals there are nice but the insurance department is a disaster. Felt like a bait and switch. Told me that my insurance should approve it and that the agreed upon price with them was set and to make the next appointment. They take my money and then I get a denial from the insurance company. They never once contacted the insurance and according to insurance it is most certainly not an approved code. Felt like they pushed me to do it quickly before I got the denial so I was locked in.

We visited cranial technologies for our son's plagiocephaly when he was 4 months. I can honestly say that we couldn't have even dreamt of better experience than what we had. We had Allison as our primary contact and she is an amazing person. My baby would light up everytime he saw her. She was so gentle with him and he loved going for his weekly appointments. She was very informative and always helping us with our concerns. We were actually a little sad when we finished, because we won't see her every week anymore. At the reception, Nancy was a gem. She helped us navigate through the process and scheduling and was always ready to accommodate us. On our last day, they even gave my baby a diploma of graduation and the whole office came to congratulate him. They truly made us feel special and made the extremely tough process way easier.

Great experience, staff was wonderful with our kid. They squeezed us in at the last minute literally the next day after we got a referral. They were well organized and efficient, Knew who we were and why we were there the second we walked in the door. Place was spacious, shining new, bright and clean. One of the best experiences we have had with a medical facility in our parenting journey so far.
