We had nothing but good experiences working with the team at Cranial Technologies, Grapevine location. Everyone was very nice, knowledgeable, and great at working with our little one. The process of scheduling and verifying insurance was very smooth. We were antsy as parents to start the band but overall the team here did a good job at settling us, and our little one was not affected by it. We graduated and are happy with the results. Thank you CT team!

My initial experiences with CT were positive. Our consultation was informative and the staff at our first appointment were helpful and kind. The front office staff are absolutely delightful - shoutout to Hunter for constantly making us feel welcome and working with us to make appointments work to fit our schedule. She was a true bright spot in our experience. However, both technicians that my son had following our consultation were rude, dismissive, and condescending at every appointment and in every interaction. Our concerns were constantly dismissed (ex: helmet rubbing the bridge of his nose and breaking skin, helmet covering his eyes and causing him to have to constantly look upward). They, however, had no problem bringing up their concerns that I wasn’t taking my son to physical therapy, even though I told them at each appointment that I had discussed it with my son’s pediatrician, and with his doctor’s knowledge and blessing, we were opting to wait until he was finished with his helmet. Which is a decision I shouldn’t have to justify, as his parent, but both technicians my son saw made clear their dissatisfaction with the choices we were making. I should note, that the reasons he was recommended for physical therapy were mild, at best, and again, known to both me and his pediatrician far before we ever stepped foot in CT. I even went so far as to call and email the office manager to have this noted on my son’s file and had our fist incredibly rude and disparaging tech removed from my son’s case. But even then, at every single appointment I was questioned about why I was not taking my child to physical therapy and made to feel like a negligent parent. During the three months I took my child to CT, they spent far more time talking about my child’s physical therapy needs than they ever did on the occupational therapy they were meant to be providing and could actually speak to. I understand it is their job to make recommendations, but this went beyond recommending to harassing. Additionally, our tech was consistently rude to me, my child, and my other family members. She was so dismissive of my baby doing normal baby things that I was left truly upset after almost every appointment about how my baby and I were treated. My baby was clicked and clucked at like an animal and rudely shushed anytime he cried for even a few seconds. At every appointment, I felt our tech was annoyed to be dealing with us and got the impression she did not like babies overall (which is unfortunate given her line of work). CT’s motto is shaping children’s lives and for three months, our lives were extremely negatively shaped, as every other week, both my son and I dreaded these appointments. It got to the point where he would cry the second he saw our tech, and this is a baby who never stops smiling. These interactions at CT very much soured our experience, and in many ways, I regret putting my child and my family through this. I am grateful for the progress my son made, but I am saddened by how he and we, his caretakers, were treated. As I said, I am pleased with his results, but I’m extremely unhappy with how we were treated. I would caution everyone to look at all of their options before choosing CT and to be aware that advocating for what works best for your family and your child will be met with hostility and resistance.

It has been an absolute nightmare to deal with this company. In the office everyone is so nice. Over the phone and the insurance process has been a nightmare especially Amanda. The insurance dept called to tell us we were approved through insurance and never told us our cost. My wife lost her job 2 days after the insurance approved and we were put on hold until cobra went through. After waiting and getting cobra the insurance department told us we were responsible for the entire cost. Which we paid just shy of 500$ for cobra. So now we are out the money for cobra and have to pay full price for the helmet. The insurance department need some huge improvements. The insurance department confirmed on a recorded line that the appointment was canceled. We get a call from the office saying we are late and they have a late policy. We are suppose to be receiving a call or email from the director and still have not. This has been a very stressful experience on me and my wife. All we would like to do is get our child a helmet to correct the issue.

I cannot express how pleased I am with my son’s DOC Band treatment. He had severe Brachycephaly and Plagiocephaly. From the initial consultation to my son finally being graduated and every visit in-between, I felt that the OTs and staff genuinely cared about my son and his progress, while also giving me, the parent, as much love and support through this whole process as my little boy received. I had terrible mom guilt about the diagnoses, but they gave me so much education on the causes of these deformities that put me more at ease. I especially want to give a heartfelt thank you to Dr Julie (who my son mostly met with) and Dr Camber. My baby couldn’t have received any better help than from these two ladies. Also, all the girls that worked at the front handling the scheduling and photos and answering phones… they were fabulous. I couldn’t recommend Cranial Technologies enough. Thank y’all. 🥰

The entire staff in this office was amazing and so kind hearted. They explained everything perfectly and always asked if I had questions. Normally going to anything involving our little ones is a headache but this was truly a wonderful experience. thank you girls for all that you did for us.

I had a phone interview with this company not too long ago and it was the worst phone interview experience I’ve had. I felt as though I wasn’t given a proper opportunity because during the interview I expressed my passion and felt as thought the interviewer was very short with me and seemed as though they were uninterested in hearing what I had to say which made me know at that point I wasn’t going to receive a job offer for this job. It was very obvious and it was as I stated the worst interview experience I’ve ever had. Super short with me in speaking. I’m usually not one to complain, but this interview made me feel upset.

Everyone was very kind every time I called and during my appointments. Everything was explained thoroughly and all my questions were answered. I am very satisfied with my baby's head and I would definitely recommend this clinic.
