Crane Motel - Motel in Roswell - 1212 W 2nd St, USA

I am a bicycle tourist traveling on a very tight budget. After battling forty mile per hour headwinds, I needed a clean, quiet place to rest for a few days. The Crane Motel is an older facility which is well managed. The rates are very reasonable. The beds are high quality and everything is in good working order. The manager stopped by my room to see if I needed anything. The staff is unfailingly polite and friendly. Across the street from the Crane Hotel is a family style Italian restaurant. After a hearty meal of spaghetti with meat sauce and a good night's sleep, I was ready to pedal to my next destination, Hondo, New Mexico. I highly recommend the Crane Motel.

The room was sparse and very basic, but it was clean and the price was right, exactly what I was looking for. Mr. Tuxedo, the manager, came out to greet me and made sure that his human filled out all the paperwork properly!

Look elsewhere if you want a clean place to lay down your head. Although it was a cost effective solution for me the room was definitely not covid sanitized or even cleaned for that matter. The floor was dirty and dusk layered on many surfaces lamp shades falling a part breakfast was no servered

I do not often leave reviews for businesses on Google anymore. I stayed at the Crane Motel in Roswell for two nights and had a good stay at a good value. I was traveling by myself and was able to pay $47 plus tax per night. I rang the doorbell and at first was greeted by an elderly Indian lady. She then motioned to get a younger man, who I presume was her son. He was consistently kind and helpful to me. Clean room, air conditioning was strong! Thank you sir and madam!

I will give this property 0 stars .it was horrible. The parking lot is all trash. Rooms smell like weed. There was a people yelling and cursing. The front desk lady was very rude and hateful. Don't understand how people could be like that . The rooms were nasty with poop stains on wall and hair all in floor. I just left and did not went to ask refund.

I paid good amount for one night stay. I had bad noise from old air-conditioning unit all night. I didn't even went to office to inform them about this situation . I noticed it's very old property might have all rooms old air-conditioned will old units. Check heating cooling noise before renting rooms at this old motel

Stayed here almost 20 years ago. Sketchy at best. Was staying there for work for a few months. There was also a drive-by..so best bring your bullet-proof vests.

Stay date: 21 April 2018. One night in Room 112. An old 'motor court' style motel. Rather recently painted and sporting a metal roof, the Crane looks nice enough on the outside. Room 112 was clean and neat. All the lights worked. TV and cable were sufficient to their purpose. Air conditioning was in good order. Bathroom was clean and tidy. I have no complaints. Reception was cordial and efficient. $45 + taxes is a very fair price. Seems to me a lot of people expect perfection from any, and every, service provider they come into contact with. A 5-star resort it is not. A nice place to stay for a night, or five, it is. Don't expect everything when you're only paying for a place to lay your head for the night. Crane's provides that place to lay your head quite well. I'll stay there again should the opportunity arise.
