This is one of the top active retirement communities around, the golf course may appear to be short, but unless you are a single digit handicap golfer don't play the back tees you will need extra balls in your bag. There are so many activities to take part in you can't get bored. Give it a serious look if you want to retire and still stay active in Florida.
I didn't go to golf but to eat in their restaurant which is wonderful. On our way to the restaurant we saw quite a few people on the course.
Great golf course and pro shop. Beautiful homes. The bar and grill is a good place to have lunch, dinner or a cocktail. 2 heated swimming pools, tennis courts, bacci and shuffleboard. It's heaven on earth.
Love this place. I've 800 homes and everything is always well kept. The golf course is immaculate. Par 66 but will kick your butt with the over 30 ponds. Bring enough balls. The restaurant has awesome food at very reasonable prices which is also opened to the public. Check it out you won't be disappointed.
Ponds. Ponds. Ponds. Lost 3 balls. Found 4 balls. Don't be fooled by the par 66. This is a tough track. Use the driver sparingly. Did I mention there are ponds?
Was invited to Florida at a Christmas party. Stayed here a week with friends. Good golf course that emphasizes accuracy instead of distance. Enjoyed the lively bar and restaurant at the club house. Lots of social. Well built homes hurricane rated. Surprised by it all.
We live here and just love the community. Have our own 18 hole golf course and beautiful club house. Also a great restaurant with inside and outside dining. 2 pools, tennis, game room, library, etc. Too much to list.
Have been here several times for banquets. It's adequate but nothing special. This last visit, in a private room with 35-40 people, we were supposed to have 2 dedicated servers who were also to take drink orders all evening.
When we got there we were told that the waitress for the restaurant didn't show so our servers would also have to take care of that area. Drink order delays were continual. At one point the server delivered a drink to our table & someone who had just arrived asked to give her his drink order & was told "you'll have to wait" I have to serve people in the other room first"

I started going here in May. I enjoy going and being motivated by the coaches. Each day I go is a different routine. I have met some really great people and the atmosphere is energetic
The pirate ship playground is wonderful! A wonderful playground! My kids had a blast on the various structures, and the nearby bathrooms allowed them to play as long as they liked. The playground is best suited for ages toddler-10.

Beautiful gardens. There are trails through the woods as well. It's free, but they appreciate donations. They offer honey in certain days but I haven't been able to try it yet. We enjoyed a beautiful day here and will definitely be back

Wow! My dish (the chimichanga ) was absolutely delicious! It was hot, seasoned, and the best Mexican food I've had in years.
It does have limited seating inside , so be prepared to take it to go .
