Fantastic today stop in the Bar will be opening on its first day GO CHIEFS.
BY THE WAY BICYCLE friendly get your hustle on right close to Rock Island Trail north of trail head
Crane is a wonderful local brewery with solid staple brews and imaginative concoctions alike. Right on the Rock Island Trail for post ride treats.
Crane brewery is excellent place to drink and have fun at, been here many times and have order beer from local bars too, enjoy the Una Familia beer, old Chicago did a Mexican beer tour, it was very good, this beer is in cans, I picked some up this week to drink,if you haven’t been here your missing something special
We had an excellent time at Crane. The space is small, and even more restricted due to COVID safety guidelines. The staff were masked and otherwise following safety guidelines. They do have the rolling garage doors to open it up, and they also have patio seating when the weather cooperates with each.
We had three beers each, and liked them all. I've always thought Crane brewed almost exclusively sour beers, and was glad to find they have been able to expand that to accommodate other palates. We each had three beers and liked them all. We had some chips and salsa to snack on while having most of our beers; and once our order from Harp BBQ next door was ready, we brought that into Crane to enjoy with another beer.
The entrance and restrooms are semi-accessible. Restrooms are gender specific. There isn't really dedicated parking, but there's plenty of street parking as this is in an underused business area.
First time here. Cycled the Rock Island Trail and stopped for lunch and a beer. Local gem. Good food and great service. Good vibe as well.
Located in Raytown (short drive outside of KC), you'll find an awesome, family owned brewery that offers tours, tasty drinks, food truck options, and a place to park your bicycle (right next to a trail). The beer was delicious and the tour guide was very knowledgeable & passionate. Try a slushie while you are there!
First time to MO and this was our first stop. That should tell you something about our interest in craft beer. Did not disappoint! Service was above and beyond expectations, (I have never been asked, “What can I do to enhance your experience?”), the beer (most importantly) was excellent and there was a large variety. The hot pressed sandwiches and chips were fantastic. I overheard someone who I suspected to be the owner ask an employee how something tasted and the employee answered “It’s okay.” The suspected owner says “Well I’m not going to sell ‘Okay’ anything” and the quality of everything showed that to be true. For those visiting with folks who don’t like craft beer (yet) they also have spirits, cocktails, wine, and cider. 10/10
I've enjoyed visiting the taproom and buying their beers for several years now and plan to continue.
Attended the Easter Egg hunt today. Was fun, just not enough eggs.
Also! Tried Rock Island coffee and loved it!! The Cinnanilla is amazing!
Here for the Blackhole bakery pairing. It is delicious!!!!
I went there for the first time today and really loved it. The layout and vibe are really really awesome. I had a really unique latte which was super yummy and I loved all the different menu options. I hung out there for a bit and got some work done
We'd give this bakery 10 stars if we could. Just stopped by for the first time and almost bought her out of pastries for the day. The croissants are so wonderful. We've had croissants in France and these are just as good! The donut holes and Long Joh
