Uncle and nephew bonding time. A great introduction for outdoor climbing. Mostly quiet in a neighborhood in the Berkeley hills.
Beautiful views of Oakland and Berkeley. Some nice grass areas for playing with the dog or having a picnic. Some epic rock climbing spots for all levels. A cute location tucked in a nice quiet neighborhood.
Onky heads up is that it is not good for long hikes and there is no parking lot just for the park so you have to find spots on the tight residental streets
Great little park with a nice view of the city from the rock. A little tricky for very young children due to steep paths around the edges. Nice, flat grass area.
Great scenery, rocks, need to climb and has curvy roads. There are rock climbing classes for kids. Portable restroom. Not very convenient parking area. Park on road.
Beautiful overview of San Francisco Bay. A very small neighborhood park but it does have a natural rock climbing face.
I went here with a new climbing friend. It's always a blast to get out doors. Plenty of friendly routes to top rope. You can also lead or trad climb but it's more risky. Farewell to arms was a smooth climb that I really enjoyed. Further back you can set up a hammock to read or sit and talk with friends. At the very top you can throw around a Frisbee and barbecue.
I’ve been coming here for almost 2 decades, always an amazing view from the top and a nice place to watch the sunset when there’s not too much fog. I’ve always know it as Santa Barbara Rock though.
Nice rare find. Bunch of rich people gathering around each other giving us weird looks but that's Berkeley
Beautiful n also heart wrecking. It does remind one of those grave moments but the glade has been done beautifully. Consist water flowing seems to be saying that new York will never forget those who left us that day. I dunno itâs very touching
I love this secluded little park. It's absolutely gorgeous. The hills are a little steep, but it's amazing. The trees are beautiful. It was raining the whole time I was there and I loved the mist on my face and the fresh air. It was just amazing.
This is a sweet little loop hike in an area where you would not expect to even find a trail. The main access is from Claremont Avenue, but you can also enter from Alvarado, Rispin and Evergreen. It's about a mile long with a pretty steep but manage
Two amazing tennis courts and the lighting to play in the evenings is probably the best in Berkeley. Quite busy, would recommend reserving online. Public Restrooms behind the court.
