I seriously CRAVE this place! I moved here from California and am so picky about poke! Finally, a place that exceeds my expectations. If you're a sushi lover, try this place. It will knock your socks off! The tuna with the sweet soy sauce is my favorite.

I really wanted to like this. But alas, I think it will be once and done. The sushi was odd. The seaweed wrappers were very thick and not easy to eat. I think it might be so the young staff can more easily roll them? The sauces were all thick and over seasoned. The meat tasted fatty and not fresh. Overall, there are better places in town for sushi.

3 ✨First timers. The bowls and sushi were outstanding. We arrived with one man ahead of us ordering takeout and a seated two-top with an infant. 5 on staff (on the line), we ordered, payed and got a beverage. There were no clean tables. I wiped off a table with napkins and about then our roll came out. I commented there weren’t clean tables and was met with “yeah I know we’ve been really busy.” I get it, I was in restaurant biz for 30+ years. About 10mins later the other table left. No new orders came in. One young lady looked utterly confused when she came out and removed the trash from the table. She threw it away and went to the back of the house. That was it. We sat for about :40 mins and no one came out to clean tables. Two women chatted at the line (also restocking etc), two dudes disappeared. If you don’t want to focus on cleanliness in the front of the house, consider having a roll of paper towels and some spray we can use to clean the tables. My husband got violently ill within two hours of eating there. We believe it was his lunch, but putting this in here bc I’ve noticed another review stating they got sick. We will go back and try it again, probably just order takeout though. Edit: I spoke to the owner who was very receptive to my review and apologetic for the experience. She was already on top of educating staff. Staff remembers the incident and accepted responsibility. I’m super pleased with this outcome! See you soon…

I used to be a regular here for a while, and definitely want to come back but it'll be some time before I'm back in town but definitely wanted to leave this here. Whenever I came in, the staff had always been friendly and generous with their portions. Always super chill and great people. They take pride in their store and its always clean. Food here is always great, with rotating seasonal options.

I had a poke bowl from here today. It was my first time checking them out and I have to say that my bowl was absolutely delicious. I am definitely coming back before I head out of town. The people were very friendly too. If you like poke as much as I do, please give them a shot.

I have been wanting to try this place for a long term me and what a netter week than when they are having fundraisers. I had the salmon poke bowl a d squid salad a d my granddaughter had seaweed salad and a build your own salmon roll. It was all delicious! We will be back!

The sushi is a mess. And both my fiancee and I had upset stomachs after eating. Didn't help the GrubHub driver took our food on a joyride before delivery. The salmon itself tasted good. Being from Maryland, I was extremely disappointed with the Old Bay rolls. Couldn't even taste the old bay. All the rolls were calling apart and too big. I was hoping for proper, custom sushi but this is a sad excuse for sushi. If you want sushi, don't come here. Based on taste, I'd say the marinated chicken is what made us sick. It tasted off. Basically, since we do not know for sure and the rolls are falling apart, it was a $40 pile of garbage for the dumpster. Extremely disappointed, and shocked at the amount of positive reviews. Scary more people don't appreciate real sushi. In this COVID world, people have truly chosen quantity and low prices over quality and skill.

I’ve been here twice and had a good experience both times. The tuna was so good. I don’t know how you manage fresh tuna in the Midwest but I felt as if I was on the west coast enjoying this bowl. Service was friendly and efficient. I’ll be back.
