Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - American restaurant in Corydon - 2393 Pacer Court Northwest, USA

We ate around 3pm on a Tuesday. Not very crowded. Service was a little slow. Mixed up our ticket, no big deal. Food was excellent! Biscuits were great tasting!! Ate again on Thanksgiving Eve. Limited menu.

The waitress must have been new. She got our orders wrong and did not know what was on the menu. I ask if they still had the cinnamon roll pie and she said yes so i ordered it. She came back 15 minutes later and said they didn't have it. So I tried to order the two biscuits and meat. By this time she had taken the menus, She said there was nothing like that on the menu. So she brought biscuits to the table and she ordered me an order of bacon and hash browns. My husband ordered the build your own breakfast, two eggs, biscuits and gravy and bacon. She came back and told him he could order two more sides. He said are you sure and she said yes. When we got the bill she charged him for the big boy breakfast. His hash browns were so hard he could not eat them. She did end up not charging him for the breakfast. We would have been glad to pay for what he had ordered. This was the worse experience we have ever had at a Cracker Barrel. Won't be back to this Cracker Barrel for awhile.

My breakfast skillet with bacon was excellent. But my husband ordered the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and steamed brocolli. For an extra dollar, he ordered the seared onion on top with smothered gravy. He said the actual hamburger steak was good, but there was barely a tablespoon of gravy, and the onions were nearly raw. Also, he didn't finish his potatoes. He said they were flavorless and had a dry crusting on the top like they were sitting out and old. We also got the fried pickles appetizer, and they were delicious as usual! They had a sale on Werther's carmels in the Country Store, so we bought 2 bags at the checkout, yummy!

Got seated right away but husband wasn't clear in what he wanted and instead of southern fried chicken he received country fried chicken. Offered biscuits and cornbread but then waitress said whoops, no biscuits. Asked for jelly when she brought food and she acknowledged our request but we never received it and she didn't come back to table to check on our meal. We ended up stopping another waitress and she brought us jelly. Food was good. That's what nice about chains, you know what you will get.

I ordered rib tips with eggs over easy, grits and spiced apples, biscuits with butter and jam and gravy automatically came with the meal. I didn't care for the rib tips they tasted of garlic which I found off-putting for breakfast BUT that is my opinion and I cannot fault Cracker Barrel. The rest of my breakfast was delicious and very filling and the service was great.

We waited over an hour for our food. (Yes, we should have left). We’re pretty sure the waitress put our order in wrong, as entirely wrong entrees were brought out & when we told the girl who brought it she must have the wrong table, we saw her take the food back & pull our waitress aside. People who were seated at least 30 minutes after us got their food first. The waitress said the kitchen was backed up (apparently just for our table) & the manager said the same. No offer to compensate anything. Terrible service. Then, 15 minutes after we finally got our food, we asked for refills. One member of our party was CLEARLY still eating & she asked if we wanted to go cups, trying to rush us out. This was hours before closing time, by the way. Astounding.

I am totally upset with this product. This was my Cracker Barrel experience for the very first time. I was looking forward to eating prime rib but when I got it. Not only was it fatty, but it was tough. Not happy with that. Then you add the broccoli and cheese in rice it was so watered down and it and only had three stocks in it. Then I got a yams with pecan. That was nasty you could have added butter in it I got a cake and I'll give it a 5 out of 5. It was good. Your pecan pie good . Not happy at all with my meal, Merry Christmas. Thank you

We had such a great experience here today! The waiter McKenzie was so great we had to tell the manager about her and Victoria was so friendly and very beautiful! Such amazing people here. The special was to die for and my wife hamburger steak was killer. They made us feel really great about coming in and honestly it's beautiful to see people being so nice and friendly in today's view. I have to say this is probably the best family based restaurant in the local area. Plus they have all kinds of cool stuff to look at while you wait! There is literally something for everyone who comes in. Thanks guys for a great memorial weekend meal!
