Love this place, it never disappoints. The food is always consistent, fresh and tasty and the service is always amazing. Every time we are in the US, we always make sure to stop at one of their locations.
I waited 3 weeks to post this; Whoever shops for the stuff in this store, is amazing. There was so much to see, so much I hand to FORCE myself not to buy...The temptation was killing me, and it kept me entertained during my ludicrously long wait. However, whoever is RUNNING this restaurant should consider other careers. I waited 15 minutes for them to find someone to take my togo order. The young person at the host stand said a number of servers didn't show up, so I asked if all the kitchen staff did. She said they had, so I ordered online. I waited over an HOUR for my food. The manager said he would reverse the charge ( he didn't), and when I got in the car and started eating, the food was LUKE WARM!! Cracker barrel is something I always look forward to on my road trips. In all my years, this was my worst experience. Don't stop at this location, except for the shopping. Find another one for food. Note: I was there Sunday night, an hour or 2 before close and the restaurant was only 1/3 full. The people that arrived while I waited were seated immediately.
We had a party of 13 for my mom’s birthday. They sent a text to my phone saying that it would be about 35 minutes. Over an hour later, we still hadn’t gotten a table. The 2 guys at the podium were fantastic while we waited. They would joke with us. We finally got seated. The girl that just walks around with the microphone had an attitude. Waitress was fantastic. My husband had to send his steak back 2 times & he gave up on sending it back for the 3rd time. There was trash all over the floor, and a dirty butter knife on the window where I sat. I’m giving the low rating b/c it’s never been like this.
Cracker Barrell is pretty much always a great experience. On this particular visit, our server was a tiny bit slow at times, but everything else was basically perfect, as always. The biscuits are To die for - they're always amazing, especially with butter and jam! Probably my favorite biscuit anywhere! We had the hamburger steak and that was absolutely delicious, too! And getting to visit the old country store for a look around after your meal is always SO much fun! Love it and will definitely be going back! If you haven't been to Cracker Barrell, you're missing out!
Great place to go after 2pm on Sunday when I mostly go. The hostess has a great attitude. The waitress I get is fantastic. The food is always great a hot. If I ever have an issue, it's resolved without any problems. I go to Cracker Barrel about every place I go out of town.
Our server was awesome! Very nice and attentive. Our wait was significant, which I don't mind because I understand most restaurants are oftentimes working with minimal staff. But most of our food arrived lukewarm, cold, and/or dried out. Only thing faintly warm was the gravy and my coffee was hot. I'll definitely try again soon because my service was spectacular.
Really good southern food. Been here for breakfast lunch and dinner (on different days) and its always busy. Not loud though, so it's good. The servers were really friendly and fast on refills. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is that it had limited vegetarian options
Good food as well as service. I recommend the fried apples and the scrambled eggs. They bring biscuits to your table, so I wouldn't recommend ordering a sausage biscuit like I did. Overall, the food was good. I prefer breakfast over lunch.
