Great breakfast and dinner here. Friendly staff. Unfortunately this visit was ent quite as good as other visits. Our food was over cooked and cold like it sat in the window for a good 10 minutes before served
Reliable and tasty as always! We had a nice pit stop here on the way down south. Great deals and friendly service. The hostess was quick to get us our stuff despite the packed dining room. Their French Toast latte special is really nice now, too!
Every time we travel we always stop at cracker barrel restaurants. Food is always good no matter what restaurant you go to. Service on the other hand is not always the same. It is a hit and a miss. Restrooms lately are very dirty. It felt like they haven't been cleaned in days. Service from the kitchen, well it took them over an hour to make our dinner. We won't be stopping at this location again.
Heard so much this place, it was not as good as the stories I has heard. Probably would not go again. Golden Coral is much better in my opinion.
Went there tonight because we just love Cracker Barrel. We'll, this was the exception. We were seated immediately. There were about 8 tables with people eating besides us. We waited 15 minutes for drink order to even be taken, then another 10 to get the drinks. About 15 minutes later, she took our order and another 40 we got our food. The food was terrible! The mashed potatoes were gray and like glue, the collard greens were dry and tasted sour, and the green beans were terrible! The okra and pinto beans were actually pretty good. The meats except the maple bacon chicken were cold and rubbery. The maple bacon chicken was fresh and really good. The side dishes were incorrect and when we addressed it the waitress rolled her eyes at us. Never got a drink refill either! As we were leaving the cashier asked how was everything and we told er terrible. She called the manager and we told her about our experience and showed her the pictures of the food. She apologized and said the meal was on them, which we appreciated. I really hope someone gets on the ball and corrects this because Cracker Barrel used to be really good. No.wonder there were so many tables available.
I tried the blueberry pancakes meal. It was amazing. So many flavors and also you get warm can of blueberry syrup and warm maple syrup. It was a total of around $9. Very very filling and tasty food. My brother also liked his steak meal. Definitely will be recommending and coming back to try more food here.
I swear they have the best staff ever. They are always bright and cheery and serve me with a smile. Now, that's not a requirement for a good tip but it's great when they seem to like their job. The breakfast tacos with the pancakes and bacon and egg was very funny and delicious. I recommend them.
My family and I (5 of us) were told we would have a 40 minute wait. We didn’t mind until groups larger than ours were being seated before us. After waiting for almost an hour to be seated, we proceeded to have to ask for our own biscuits 30 minutes after that. We then asked for the manager, which we were ignored three times until he finally came to our table, got our refills that we were waiting over an hour for. Our waitress, who never told us her name, finally brought our food out, which we also waited over an hour for, only for all 5 of our plates to be cold, hard, terrible, and missing parts to our meals. We asked for the manager again to which he said he would get us hot new food that he would make and get us our drinks. When we asked our waitress for anything or even a question, her response was filled with a careless attitude. She then proceeded to let all the bad food and dirty empty cups to build up on our table (along with three other tables around us) and when we asked her politely to remove them so we could have room for our new food coming, she informed us it was not her fault and she couldn’t do anything about it. After the manager brought us our new food and comped our meals, which we greatly appreciated, we never saw our waitress again. As we were leaving a family that was just being sat had a disgusting and dirty table that was not clean or taken care of and when they asked for someone to take care of it, they were also ignored. Overall our experience at this Cracker Barrel was awful and we will not be going back.
