Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - American restaurant in New Stanton - 154 W Pennsylvania Ave, USA

I told yall I would go dine in an give yall and update about the dine experience. I took a picture of the the food but for some reason it’s not letting me post it. Ok but first off, the host took me straight allllllll the way to the back and told her no I wanted to sit in a comfortable place like everyone else. The next customers that came after me she was so friendly to them asking them where that wanted to sit even offered a spot in front of the fireplace, NOT COOL! But other than that, my waitress was wonderful, the food was awesome. I ordered the stuffed cheesecake pancakes with sausage and eggs. Great dish! But I’m not sure if they see many people of color in this restaurant because I did get a lot of stares and awkward smiles. But other than the host, everything was decent. I’ll go give it one more try before I throw the whole restaurant away!

Excellent service and food. Atmosphere is a bit loud, but to me that's a sign that people are having fun and enjoying themselves. There is an excellent choice of meals. Very nice experience.

It's Cracker Barrel. Always great food, always great atmosphere, always amazing service. Our server, Liz, was one of the best I've had. Biscuits are totally on point.

Our waitress was amazing. She was very attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant. Our table was in the center of a busy walkway. It was hard for the other waitresses to get around. Food wasn't as great as I remembered a few years ago. My steak was well prepared but the hash brown casserole was dry and too crunchy. Biscuits and cornbread were very good.

The food was great, as was the service, the atmosphere, and every thing else! I tried the Steak n Shrimp sampler this time. It was awesome! My sister and I go there as a celebration after seeing my oncologist- good visit, good food, great companionship.

Always love this place. Lexie was a great waitress. Food was very good. We recently went to another one and the layout was the same making you feel at "home." Lots of home style menu items. I often prefer those. Carrots and broccoli just cooked a little, no sauces, etc. Plain and simple and good!

Encountered ducks and lots of their feces on the porch and entryway to restaurant. Had difficulty getting to the hostess podium because the path to get there is narrow due to display of goods and patrons browsing merchandise. Restrooms were filfthy. Not the most handicap user friendly. Would be better if hostess podium was next to door and aisles to hostess station, dining room, bathroom, and registers were wider and kept clear. Could possibly have fence or screening around porch area to keep ducks out hand have staff member remove feces from sidewalks with push broom and water hose.

Food was good. Our server was excellent. Cracker Barrel needs to do something with the tables on top of other guests. Might as well make one long table and force me to share biscuits and cornbread with strangers. This restaurant's restrooms were in desperate need of attention.
