Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - American restaurant in Bel Air - 1440 Handlir Dr, USA

Came with high expectations and left disappointed. The gravy that comes with the biscuits was unseasoned and bland. The fried chicken was not crispy however the flavor was there. Biscuits were nice and fluffy. Highlight of the meal was definitely the pancakes. Overall the food came at a fair price and the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. Nothing spectacular but definitely worth trying out.

It was a 15 min wait for a party of 4. I got the grandpas country fried steak. The food was cold when it was served. The hashbrown casserole was good, the eggs were mid, and the country fried steak was disappointing, mostly because how disgusting the gravy was. It had no taste or any seasoning. Because the gravy was bad it made the whole meal a mistake. The Hot coco was delicious. The buttermilk pancake was tasty. The bacon Mac n Cheese was a turn off because how much you can taste the oil. Biscuit beignets was nothing crazy, get it if it’s free using the app. Lastly the customer service was phenomenal which made the experience a little better. 6/10

Me and my family had a wonderful experience at this location. This was our first time going to Cracker Barrel. The staff was super friendly, and helpful and we were seated within minutes. The atmosphere or environment was so chill, quiet and comfortable. As soon you come in you'll see a small country store/boutique then the restaurant. The store is too cute and very well kept. We even had great conversations and vibe with customers beside us. Our waitress Ashley was friendly, super patient, fast and attentive. We ordered breakfast and dinner. The food was great, no complaints except for my breakfast sausage patties was kind of red and seemed not thoroughly cooked. I brought it to my waitress attention. She was apologetic however, it didn't bother me as it was late and we were just ready to check out. The best part is that the food is very reasonably priced. I even received a extra $5.00 off my order for signing up for there Rewards. ❤️ I would give this place a 9 out of 10. We'll most definitely be back soon.

We ordered the chicken. We waited at least 40 minutes for it to arrive. We were, then, told that this chicken should have been taken off the menu for the day because they had a catering job for 60 people or pieces. Our waitress, Sarah, was very nice but she seemed a bit confused She wasn’t sure when our meal was going to come out. We enjoy eating at Cracker Barrel and this was really the only problem we have ever had since we’ve been eating there. Our cashier, a young man, sorry I don’t remember his name, was very helpful and nice.

Service and atmosphere was outstanding. For the most part the food was good, except for the over cooked sausage patties and the watery grits, both need to be served hotter. Thank you.

Picked up dinners to go for us recently. Wanted to order online, but system does not allow for payment by gift card. Tried to order by phone, but something wrong with lines. Had to order in person. Food was very good as always. Some meat was a bit tough and dry. Still, a good enjoyable meal.

The server was very professional. She made sure we had everything we needed. I live in Philadelphia, our cricket barrel does not have the game on the tables that I love. This Cracker Barrel had the games on the table and available to purchase. This made my day!! Thank you for a great time.

If I could rate the 0 stars I would! My son and I went out to dinner tonight at Cracker Barrel in Belcamp tonight and had a terrible experience! For starters our waitress Emily was one of the slowest waitresses I have ever had. It took forever for her to come take our order and then even longer for her to bring us our food. When we got our food I was missing my side of mashed potatoes. When Emily finally came back to our table after what seemed like forever I told her that my mashed potatoes were missing and she said she would be right back with them. It again took her forever to get back to the table with my potatoes. When she finally brought them to me I took a quick bite and then proceeded to stir them to mix in the gravy a bit. After stirring for a few seconds I felt something hard at the bottom of the bowl so I scooped it out. To my horror I discovered it was a big clump on MOLD!! I immediately asked one of the other waitresses to get the manger. When the manager came out she was very rude and nasty and asked me what I wanted. I pointed to the bowl of potatoes and she said “Oh yeah would you like another bowl?” I told her no but that we would like refills of our drinks. She immediately took the bowl and hurried off to the kitchen. When she came back with our drinks she proceeded to tell me that it was just the eye of the potato that I had found. I informed her that I am not stupid and that no that was the eye of the potato it was MOLD! She then told me that she would take my meal off the bill and would take my name and number, and that the Cracker Barrel home office will be contacting me. Brady and I love going to Cracker Barrel but I can honestly said we will never go to Cracker Barrel - Belcamp, MD ever again! I post this as a warning so no one else has to go through this and risk getting sick! Never go to Cracker Barrel Belcamp! Their customer service is terrible and their food has mold in it!!
