Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - American restaurant in Louisville - 10150 Brookridge Village Blvd, USA

The last three times we have ordered curbside pickup from the Fern Creek Cracker Barrel the service seems non-existent. We always include a tip on our orders, but apparently that doesn't matter to this younger generation of employees. Tips are expected, but quality service is not provided. Three times curbside service has made us wait outside in our vehicle between 20-30 minutes. That is from the time we complete the "I'm here" message & then I call 5 minutes later to let them know we're here, & still they don't bring food to our vehicle for another 20-25 minutes after that. Twice they left off food we had paid for, so I had to go in anyway to get it. Cracker Barrel should get their online order - curbside pickup system right or stop advertising curbside pickup altogether.

We selected to dine at our neighborhood Cracker Barrel this morning. We arrived at approximately 11:45, we were seated promptly. Our server was Christine, who acknowledged us immediately. Our order was secured in an acceptable time frame, however it did not reach us in an acceptable time frame. Please know that on this Tuesday , 01/23/24 at this time, that the restaurant wasn’t crowded/busy and there appeared to be adequate staff on the floor. I inquired about our order on two occasions. On the first occasion I was told it should be out soon on my second inquiry I was told that there was a new cook in kitchen which maybe contributing to the delay. Immediately upon receiving our food I asked to speak with a manager who did not appear at our table for some time as well. Once I lodged my complaint the reaction was that of no concern, simply an ask of how was the food and then told that a large catering order had just been completed which may have attributed to the wait. The manager also stated that per the ticket put in by our server that it took 13 minutes for our order. I expressed that our wait had certainly been longer than 13 minutes. There was no offer of any sort to appease our dissatisfaction with our wait time. We dine frequently at our local Fern Creek Cracker Barrel but now have other options in the area . Given the lackluster commitment to customer service, we will hesitate at selecting Cracker Barrel in Fern Creek in the future.

Today my daughter and I had brunch, i had Maple bacon grilled chicken and she had breakfast, French toast and impossible sausage. I love how accommodating they are since she is Muslim they informed her that they used bacon grease in their corn muffins. Plus our waitress was sweet and attentive while not being overly interrupting. The prices and atmosphere are relatively relaxing too

The past few times I have been there the food has been awful. I got the chicken and dumplings and the dumplings were gummy, the broth was thin, and there was barely any chicken in it. My son ordered the breakfast and the sausage wasn't cooked all the way through and the bacon wasn't cooked properly. We ordered the cheese curds for an an appetizer, and the waitress never brought it out until we asked her about it when she was bringing our meals out. The server asked us if we wanted cornbread and didn't bring it out until we were just about finished eating. I used to enjoy eating there and the food was good, but after this last time, I won't be eating there again.

After trying to order on line twice and it not going thru I tried to order in the store. I waited 20 minutes and 3 workers said they would get somebody but nobody ever came. I told a woman at the register, and said I was leaving. She was helpful and got someone to come up and take my order. She said there was no waiting and assured me it would be quick. The 1st lady had to call on it and it still took so long I went to sit in the car. After another 25 minutes it was ready. I got it home and one order was missing 3 sides on the two orders! Too far to go back. I called for a refund but they would not do that. So, it's not enough for dinner. They said they would "put me down" for 2 free meals next time I come. We will see. Why would I want to go back? Unacceptable on every level. Over the hour no one even apologized. They should do better!

I have always loved crack Barrel because of the food. but my server that I had this time just forgot that we were there. It took one of the managers to ask if everything was okay , I had to ask him for a refill on my coffee. She only stopped at my table twice to see if we needed anything.I could see if it was busy, but it was slow at that time.

We went to Cracker barrel on Bardstown road, Louisville on Friday, Jan 19th. The food was good and fresh. The waiter was very nice. But the hostess was hardly hospitable. She never said hello. Never made eye contact. Threw our menus on the table, and when i said thank you, she never even looked at us. I literally watched her treat everyone she seated around us the same way. If you don't like people for goodness sake get a remote job and work from home. I would give 5 stars if she had been the least bit friendly.

Good was excellent, hot and delicious, waitress was very professional waiting on us. Kept the coffee coming. YES!!! Room temperature was very comfortable. For once we didn't freeze to death while eating our food! The music was too loud, staff sweeping in one section over from where we were sitting was making extremely loud noise with the broom and dustpan. It was difficult to carry on a decent conversation without having to really raise your voice.
