The best part of Cracker Barrell is the Old Time Country Store. We visited today and had the Grandpa Breakfast & the Grandma's Breakfast. I had the country fried steak with one and th3 country fried Chicken with the other. We also had sausage with the grandma's Breakfast. Both come with a country side... two eggs any style and a side of biscuits and sausage gravy! Just because you can't come to CB and not order pancakes we had a side of pancakes too! The wait wasn't long, Carson (our server) was great and the food was good too! Now CB has a rewards program!
I don't recall ever having a bad meal at Cracker Barrel and while the quality has gone down slightly over the past couple of years, tonight was a new low. I ordered veggies, my wife had breakfast and my grandson ordered a grilled cheese with fries. The grilled cheese came to the table burned and my veggies were only lukewarm. I had asked for mac & cheese as one of the sides but they were out, so I settled for corn instead. I asked for cornbread 4 times before getting it. I asked for pepper sauce 3 times and when it arrived, the bottle was empty. I thought about sending the grilled cheese back but it had taken so long to get our food that I didn't want to wait any longer. Plus, I knew my grandson wasn't really hungry and probably wouldn't have eaten it anyway. The restaurant was busy but not overly crowded on a Sunday evening, so I'm not sure what the issue was. I noticed several diners having issues as well. It's my hope that management gets things under control because I have really enjoyed dining at this Cracker Barrel because of it's convenient location.
We waited patiently until something came to take our order. The other server had a large table. When that happens, a manager should be visibly on the floor to help out. The first person who stepped in was a bit annoyed and we could tell by her facial expression, how she spoke, and what she asked. The tone was being set. We changed our focus and were determined to enjoy our food. It didn't take too long for our food to come out. We were very shocked. The second person who waited on us was apologizing for not reaching us in time. We shared how we understood. He was pleasant and returned to check on us with more smiles. They had some wonderful sales in their gift shop. We enjoyed checking it' out. Sale prices were great! I bought some great items for my family. It was a pleasant shopping experience.
Tonight we were seated very quickly and that’s where the wheels fell off! After waiting over 15 minutes I finally went to the greeter and asked if anyone was working in the dining room The manager was standing there and said she would send someone to our table. A few more minutes and a guy comes to take our drink order but made it clear he wouldn’t be taking our food order, someone else would be there after their break. We said fine. Drinks came, About 15 more minutes a waitress came and took our food order ……… People came and went as we waited and waited and waited. When we had been there 1 hour we left. I told the cashier that we were never served but no need to call the mgr. but she insisted The mgr came up, I told her we weren’t served and she said “ your food is next in the window” no thank you…. I wonder what will be in these buildings when Cracker Barrel closes. I predict this will be the next big chain that is known only as a memory
I want to stress that I do not believe the management contributed to the poor quality of food. Management tried to make it right. I have noticed over the past few years that Cracker Barrel's quality has suffered. That being said, I'm confident this will be my last trip to a Cracker Barrel until they make some changes and try to get back to something resembling what Cracker Barrel use to be. The steak resembled something I would give my dog. It was supposed to be a steak breakfast, but you can judge for yourself if this "Steak breakfast " looks appetizing to you from my pictures.
The last time I went to Cracker Barrel about 15 years ago they had halved the food portions and raised the price. We sat there for 15 minutes and some black waitress walked by us 4 times serving everyone around us so I walked out and never went back. Like a fool I ordered food for delivery today , I ordered hamburger steak and it was cooked for at least 20 minutes. It was cooked way beyond well. It was dry as can be and I tried to cut it with a steak knife , it was brittle and falling apart. Yes the portions are still tiny. Cracker Barrel you will never screw me again.
This is the classic southern restaurant! I didn't know why it was so busy until I was there. I chose the southern fried chicken and it was very good, far from any secret recipe, I just felt at home, there's the secret, it's a busy place but their staff is always ready with a smile to help you. Don't forget to take the time to buy a souvenir in their store, there are some very nice items. See you soon!
I order from your app... The last two times I went in there the cashier stopped me from taking my bag on the shelf... Don't put it on a shelf for us to take if it's not paid for... Every other restaurant has managed to get this right... CRACKER BARREL HAS NOT. Chicken was dry. Small portions on the sides... I'm done with your restaurant.

The food was incredible! I hate that I ate dessert before taking a pic, but it was too good not to start. The band was perfect for the atmosphere. Jen was a perfect waitress, meeting all our needs, and it was her first day, but you wouldn't know it.
Just started going there recently. David and Terri get you up a lot on Thursday karaoke nights. Staff is great and the patrons are welcoming. Very enjoyable experience.
Always great food. The best frozen lime margaritas ever. The chips and dip are excellent. Lately itâs been a little spicier which I like , the cheese dip and guacamole are excellent too , they make the chips in house. The bacon wrapped shrimp are o
Great tap selection. My tastes stray toward stouts, aged and malted beers and the Hog usually provides a large enough sampling for one or two flights of heaven with no repeats. Full range of rotating taps. A favorite spot for beer. Try the Buffalo c

Every sleep in I stay at is always such a positive experience for me but this location was the BEST! The hotel itself is so clean and the location is perfect, you have many stores / food options around you. But what really did it for me was the staff
I love this place. They have delicious healthy food, kebabs, tabouli, rice, talapia, salmon, humus, etc. And good cheese fries. Their tilapia really yummy. And plates come with fruits and a cup of humus. The owner and staff are really nice.
1/2 alligator sausage and chicken & sausage gumbo was AMAZING. The gator wasn't super spicy by itself and you could get the flavor of the meat. ONE OF THE BEST GUMBOS IVE EVER HAD!!!! oh yeah, the server was super friendly and food was out Pronto. De
