Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - American restaurant in Ocala - 3801 SW College Rd, USA

A real mixed bag: Had meatloaf (very good) with chicken dumplings (hardly any taste), corn (maybe frozen and served? Also no taste), cole slaw and corn bread (both good). Our waitress was super friendly and worked very hard. Very busy at lunch time, and the restaurant is only accessible through the back of the store.

I never been to a Cracker Barrel but it was an experience! With the amazing gift shop area so beautifully decorated with holiday trinkets, trees and wreaths. The food was also delicious and served with a smile by Vickie. If you have never been, and maybe aren’t sure what a “Cracker Barrel “ is just GO!

Cracker Barrel never disappoints us! Service, friendly staff, food served at temp and always delicious. They have a new rewards program too! Always enjoy the newest / seasonal hot and cold beverages.

I ordered the loaded hash brown casserole tots. It’s far from a casserole. It’s a side of tater tots with bacon crumbles, chives and cheese placed on top that falls to the bottom. The tater tots were hot, but the cheese was not melted. So I was basically just eating tater tots as all of my ingredients were sitting on the bottom of the plate. I asked Our about it and she said this is the way it comes.

If you are one of the few that have not yet experienced it but have been meaning to, now might be the best time to check it out. This place gives you the best nostalgic vibes that harken back to a family gathering place to break bread in a store filled with products give you that old world sense while strolling among vintage antiques displayed on the walls. Oh, and the country food is really good too!

We had to wait a little after being seated. My blueberry pancakes were over cooked but once I mentioned it to the waitress, she took care of it promptly and I was satisfied with the new batch of pancakes. Overall the service was great. One of the managers from out of town came and talked with us which was nice. It made us feel welcomed.

I had a wonderful experience at this typical American breakfast restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and exceptional service. The staff was attentive and kind throughout my visit, making sure I was comfortable and satisfied.

Tere was great server for my family. Watch for the biscuit when serve you. Some were hard couldn't eat them. The scramble eggs was running. I know some people like running eggs bit i like mine cook.On a good note my chicken n French toast was good.
