Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - American restaurant in Jackson - 2494 Airport Rd, USA

Nearly an hour wait to get our food, then another five minutes just to get some ketchup… didn’t need it …Eggshells in my eggs and hair in my French toast. This place made Denny’s look good. Never again! The food was as nasty as the bathroom floor.

Our waitress was very kind and attentive, she made the entire visit a comfortable experience. This was my first time eating at a Cracker Barrel restaurant. I thought the personal size syrup bottles were a cute and unique touch. I wish I'd had more time to kill because the store seemed to have some interesting finds. I will return when I'm in the area again.

Great experience at Cracker Barrel in Jackson, Michigan!!! Had the spicy catfish fillets, hash brown casserole and fried okra along with the cornbread muffins. Oh my goodness! It was so yummy. The fish was cooked perfectly, so flaky and served nice and hot!! Our waitress was a mature lady and so friendly, and on the ball. She checked on us often and asked if there was anything she could do for us. Keep this lady on your staff!! She is wonderful!!

Someone gave us a gift card for Cracker Barrel so we decided to purchase a dinner for our family. First off, their website nor app takes gift cards so we had to go in to order a to-go order. We waited for 25 minutes and nothing. I could see in the back kitchen people just standing around. Workers out front just standing around. Manager was there too and NEVER approached us to ask if he could help or engage us in anyway at all. I approached the front desk girl and asked her to check on my order. She checked for us and told us that it would be another 15-20 minutes because none of the sides were done. Really?? 45 minutes to wait?? It’s supper time and you have no sides ready?? We ordered the green beans and fried apples. Simple sides. We also didn’t ask for anything out of the ordinary. We walked out and will never return. By the way we ordered from Olive Garden (next door), on their website with a gift card. Got to-go and when we arrived it was ready. Never again Cracker Barrel. One more thing. With all the workers standing around doing nothing you’d think the women’s restroom would be clean and have toilet paper. One stall out of order. One stall no toilet paper at all and the last stall with maybe 1/16 of a roll left. Do better Cracker Barrel.

Stopped in while out shopping nearby. Portions were huge and food was delicious. I highly recommend the stuffed pancakes and watermelon lemonade. Wandered the store for a bit as required when visiting. Would go back again.

The Catfish was very good, the okra was fried correctly. Our server was great. She was Nice, Helpful, anticipated our drink needs before we did. It was a wonderful experience

Our service was really great! I'm just sorry I can't remember her name. 😔 It was a busy time, yet our waitress was pleasant, got out orders, and checked on us multiple times with a consistent smile. We observed her and she did that with every table she was assigned. Just excellent!!!

We waited over 9 minutes to get a person to take our drink order. There were only 4 tables filled in the room. It was very slow when we were there. The food was fine but the service was terrible. Extremely slow on drink refills and when asked for anything and the server returned there was nothing but an excuse "I forgot". Went to talk to a supervisor and the person I was complaining about rolled their eyes as if I was lying. Business must be great where they can afford to treat paying customers poorly. Three of us spent close to $100, never again.
